Default CX7 head gasket fix now P2006 errors

Hi, relaced the VVT unit, guides, tensioners, etc. approx. 15k miles ago. Mom had the coolant hose from the oil cooler block start leaking on her 20 mile journey home, she is 84,the CEL light came on and she decided to nurse it home, needless to say,she didnt make it. Had the head resurface, compensated with an .051 head gasket, had done this procedure repair before, have all the timing tools, ect. Starting getting a P2006 error .At this point my son showed me that the "plastic part" that pushed on the plunger for the swirl valve actuator was apparently broken. I have attached a picture. I dont know what this part is called,if it can be replaced or I have to have a new ?? whatever its called? anything above 2000rpm will throw the DTC code. He said the part that presses on the plunger was plastic, can anyone help with this?

Default Pic of previous question

OK the Plunger has a white line drawn around it,the arm that actuates has a yellow one. Dord anyone know what I need to fix this? Also with arm or rod or whatever it is this the VVT can't advance, with increased RPMs.wouldnt that also cause a Crankshaft/Camshaft error slash major interference? Please anyone, I dont even know the technical name for the part or if its an entire intake assemble, kind of like the oil cooler gasket BS. Thanks In Advance

*Trying to get pic uploaded, worked the first time,Operator error I am sure..

Trying this again,I didn't see the original piece the depresses the plunger,it was missing before I got to it,Pitching the DTC P2006 at anything above 2k RPMs,and I assume that is also why It gives an occasional Crank/Cam out of sync as everything in the timing set was new, including the timing tool, almost impossible to screw it up,almost. Was given a valve job and surfaced flat with a .051 head gasket (stock is .030)The Only choices I could find were .030, .051 , .075. The Machine shop which is One of the Best in LV did the math for the .051 head gasket, sounds perfect until RPMs start to increase above 2k or less if there is a load on it like an incline,I am Baffled
Could the missing part (plastic lever or rod according to my son)that pushes on the plunger cause the VVT mechanism not to function? It idles fine and is smooth, was timed with Blind Plug and Mazda Timing tools, exactly the same as when I replaced the VVT & Timing set 15k miles ago. When I take off as gently as possible if it gets up around 2k it starts to sound like slight interference with valve tapping. I haven't pushed it above that. I drove it around town for over 30 minutes really taking it easy but doing speed limit up to 45 ,and no CEL at all. The next time I started it,I got the P2006 Code and the Bank "A" Crank/Cam Sync Error, It hasn't done that except the first time, just the P2006,all timing components were new 15k ago,I don't get it...
