Default Cobb AP V3 Now available for Pre-order at EdgeAutosport!
Looks like Cobb pushed up the release date on the new AP V3 so here I am to tell you that it is now available for pre-order and will be shipping out to you on August 1st.



The new and improved AP V3 will include a custom AP mount, a case, a blue and silver face plate, and OBDII port connector as well as a USB connector for your computer.



The AP V3 has a larger, full color, higher resolution screen that will allow you to monitor up to six different parameters at the same time, in real time.





And you can now customize the look with two bezel colors, both of which are included with your new AP



It also features a power switch that will allow you to turn it off as well as an auto dimmer so that it will be easier to view at night.

Cobb has really stepped it up with the new V3. The AP was already one of the best upgrades for your car and it is now even better!

The new price is $650 (includes shipping to continental US) which is only $55 more than the old one and considering that you get a $20 mount included as well as an extra bezel, it is well worth the increase in cost.

That shit looks tits. Deffinatly would be on board if ther was a trade in allowance.

im tempted to sell my app now and get 500 then just pay the 150. i hope this ap isn't a flimsy POS like the V2, I hope cobb got this one rite because for 60 $ for the V2 I thought I would have gotten somthing a little more durable and quality lol

Well fuck me!

I just got a new AP V2 two weeks ago with the 4th of july make me an offer sale. This one looks magnatudes better - on/off switch, multiple parameter monitor, high res screen, and a better (hopefully) connector for the ODBII.

Maybe this was why it was so easy to get the deal I got?

What are the trade in details?

wow, months into owning a V2 that I refuse to use for anything other than flashing as the connector/cables/display suck, glad to see my concerns appear to have been addressed, still wish they would have fronted the display to smartphones... anxious to see the trade in program.

Update: I just got off the phone with JP @EdgeAutosport.com, and I'm still a little stunned. The answer he gave was not by any means what I expected to hear: buyer's remorse has just been erased! If anyone else has recently ordered a V2 and it's unopened/ still in the box, you can return it for an exchange and just pay the difference in price between the v2 and the v3 (return shipping is on me, but I'll take that deal in a heartbeat). Again, it only applies to V2's still in the box/ unopened. My V2 is supposed to arrive today and will be headed back out in the mail tomorrow for the swap.

Kudos to EdgeAutosport.com! "Unmatched support" is no joke here.

I'm assuming the V2 will still have the same abilities to reflash a map. So what you are really buying is something prettier. Admittedly it looks much better than the V2, but there are other mods I would buy for $600 since I already own a V2...

You still have to pay 650 up front though. It will take 1-2 weeks to get the 325 back after they have gotten your v2 back and verified it's working.

I did read, I bought my V2 six months ago and I can't justify spending the extra 300 ish with a trade in for this just yet. No doubt it has a much improved interface and upgraded technology but I still like my V2 for getting the job done and recording logs. Nicest feature of the new one is being able to monitor multiple things at once.

Exactly. Most of us also have other gauges that this new AP will replace. I know that's what I'm doing. This will essentially be a free upgrade if you had any sort of gauge setup, dashhawk, etc.
