JP's support and customer service is second to none

A while back I had an issue with a part I had originally purchased through Edge fail. No biggie, I ordered another one and that had to ship from the manufacturer since it wasn't in stock at Edge. The product was on backorder, so there was a weeks wait for it to be available. Since I couldn't afford to have the car down for any longer than necessary, I paid the extra 80 dollars or so to have that part overnighted from the east coast. It finally showed up only to find out that the tolerances were off and it wouldn't assemble! I attempted to contact the manufacturer, but no one from the company seemed to want to respond to my emails contrary to the way they manufacturer represented their desire towards getting the problem resolved on this forum.

JP to the rescue! This problem was in no way JP's fault. He had no skin in the game other than I was one of his customers. JP was able to actually get in contact with someone at the manufacturer and had the replacement scheduled to ship the next morning. Unfortunately the manufacturer didn't care too much about getting their broken/faulty parts replaced in a timely manner and only wanted to ship ground. That would mean another week of being without a car. Not acceptable, especially after how long the company took to even respond to the initial warranty requests. JP recognized this and covered overnight UPS and return shipping. The manufacturer wanted ME to pay to send the broken part back to them... wtf?!!

Talk about seriously stepping up to protect/help your customers! He worked hard to make sure I was happy, and that my car was able to be put back together as quick as possible after having been 3 weeks without a car due to the previous slow shipping and manufacturing issues beyond his control.


To make the experience even more awesome, on my next purchase from him a week later here is what showed up on the outside of the package:


If Edge carries the parts, ALL of my future purchases will be made through them. It's very rare for a company to stand up for their customers the way JP and Eric did.

Not that Eric@EdgeAutosport, but a new Eric works there now. Maybe it is Erik... Not sure about the spelling.
