(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score After having a lot of trouble with leaking and blowing custom FMIC hoses, designed&manufactured by a local shop, I decided to go back to TMIC. When doing it I also installed TIG IM&TB gaskets and an IM tapped for meth port injection. In order to save time I got a CX7 IM tapped and installed it. I also did a complete VVT replacement, Stratified EBCS&Boost Dial lines rerouting and OCC relocation. The 4th gear wot logs since then leave much to be desired - by the redline the BAT reach 125F even now, when the ambient is 55F and the IAT are about 70F. The wg duty cycle by redline has increased as well - from 80% up to 99% and the turbo now flows less. The LTFTs at wot are about -0,25. There is no KR with higher octane fuel or with meth engaged. BATs also drop a lot with wmi, but still I cannot find a reason why the turbo needs to work that much harder to provide that amount of flow except for 1) terrific tmic heatsoak 2) bad cx7 im design, which causes all these issues. I tried two different TMICs, and they both performed roughly the same. Now I have ETS TMIC. What do you think of this? Taking into consideration all the above listed things done to the car, may I be missing any ideas on what/where to check? Any input will be highly appreciated.

| Not Ranked : 0 score the rise in wgdc's may be a part of why your bats are higher than you used to see. Also along with that you put the IC back on top of the motor, so its going to heat soak a bit when standing still. As far as bats are concerned with a top mount, there NEEDS to be a shroud around it making sure the air funneling in goes directly thru the IC instead of around it. The high WGDC's of 15-20% i would associate with a leak. Double check your hose clamps, and if those check out it is possible the manifold didnt seat properly on install and is leaking, so a boost leak test could help rule those things out

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score In case of a considerable boost leak, the LTFTs will be affected, won't they?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Direct port meth injection will also cause incorrect bat readings as you are injecting after the temp sensor.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I haven't lined the nozzles for the direct port - the holes in the runners are plugged now.
