Default Max boost question

Sorry for the newbie question.

My previous setup: Sure Aeros SRI/Stock TIP/Turbo Smart Dual BOV/ProSport boost gauge/AP V2 with 93 stage one installed. Car ran fine, but I got a good deal on Cobb TIP and SRI. With this setup would boost would raise to 18psi and then drop down to ~15psi.

Swapped for the Cobb TIP/SRI. Car runs great, but boost showing steady 13psi where before it would go a little higher. Would that be normal? Adjust BOV maybe?

Post some logs. Are you on the same map after switching intakes?

same map after swap. I don't have the AP logging, but I'll figure out how.

Go back to stock map to be safe?

Typically you want to make sure you are running the map that coincides with the hardware you have in your car. Just locate the map that best fits your setup. visit the how to's for logging, maf cal and WOT calibration. Post up a few logs then we can see where you're at.

The best way to get assistance with ECU/Tuning issues, is to post up logs, logs, logs...

Thanks I'll do a MAF/WOT cal tomorrow and take a look at the how to logging The map I'm using with a change in TIP should not have changed the map. I'll look again tomorrow when I get a chance and then post logs.

You went from a Sure Aeros which I believe has a 3" maf housing and stock TIH, to a COBB SRI and COBB TIH. (unsure of the maf housing with the COBB)

Different hardware will have different maf scale. Just make sure you are using the map that goes with the COBB SRI/TIH, do the maf cal and wot cal, you should be good as long as there are no other hardware issues.

I believe so. Their 3" intakes have a different name.

The Cobb intakes are quite large in diameter. So the car should run more boost and not less. This sounds like a different problem such as a boost leak. A maf cal log and wot log will give us a lot more info.
