Default To those of you with a FMIC

So... I'm looking to either do a FMIC or an WTA IC. I already have a WTA IC so I'm considering just using that and it would fit right where my stock air box would have sat, below my HTP filter and stuff... it would be a near perfect fit with a straight shot going literally straight to the throttle body, with ONE problem...

THAT DAMN RADIATOR HOSE!!!!

So what do you guys do when you encounter that problem? Is there an after market hose we can switch to that is longer and drops more out of the way? Most of the kits for a FMIC that I've seen are still a relatively straight pipe going into the TB, so it makes me wonder how they do that...

What have you done for this solution?

you can rotate it for more access or bring the old hose to autozone and find one that matches the length but has a bigger dip.

is there a confirmed hose with a bigger dip in it my Water to air just sits on my coolant hose and pushes it down a bit but otherwise still flows fine

I had to do this when I was installing my custom piping for my FMIC, just took it out switch ends and there you go more space!!

Same here, just rotated one side. Just be sure the hose isn't left with a bind or kink in it.

Any longer radiator/heat rated hosing that you can get to fit should work too.

I rotated mine when i did a custom fmic piping. I found i didn't even need to remove it. I just move the clamps up the hose outta the way and twisted it while it was still attached. Just grab it where at the neck of where its attached and twist it with you hand. It took some muscle but it turned. Just do both ends and it will be completely clocked out of the way.
