If you're going Garrett, you will need to mod your DP anyway to use a reall hotside, so we need to figure out how far the flange needs moved to fit the EFR, see if it's feasible, and that's where the flange should go. I would have to believe we wouldn't need it moved the whole 3.25" to make it even with the Garrett, since I don't think just needing a smaller battery will be a deal breaker for anyone looking to go EFR. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Who is selling the GT turbos with a proper hotside? My excitement about the EFR turbos are the hotside and being able to run a twin scroll IWG setup. The compressor wheels are actually slightly less efficient than the GTs, with a wider map that I don't really need for a 6700rpm redline.

I see they make a .78 a/r divided housing for the GT BB turbo series but I'm struggling with whether or not it would even be worth it with this "small" of a turbo.

| Not Ranked : 0 score A twin scroll ewg turbo will save you money over the efr and most likely produce more power. The efr turbo only really makes sense to me if you were going from a car that was n/a to adding FI to it. Such as an all motor civic wanting a turbo and doing an efr to reduce headaches. Our cars already come turbo'd with bov's and ewg's are better for boost control

I guess what I meant was with this size turbo (relatively small), I can't imagine the spool time with an undivided housing is horrible... so is it worth the effort to go with the TS design? If yes.. then that's fine, I was just wondering.
