| Not Ranked : 0 score A note about the "free lifetime pads" from the dealer: Called my local dealer in Seattle, quoted me at $335 for a full set of new OEM pads including labor. Confirmed the lifetime replacement and said it would be about 2 hours of labor each time at $102/hr but subject to whatever the current rate is. A small local shop that I trust quoted me $150 for parts and labor which seems too good to be true, but I'm gonna walk in and check part numbers.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks guys. Well I went for the small local shop and oem rotors cuz I needed them now, ended up at $170 for everything. Still cheaper than the "free" lifetime replacement at a dealer.

| Not Ranked : 0 score MY FIRST POST ! ! ! ! If you are going to go to NAPA or O'Reilly - or whatever - just make sure you tell them it's the 2.3L Turbo. Their system has the Speed 3 buried under the Mazda 3 listing. The correct pads are in there - but if you don't tell them it's the 2.3L turbo - you'll be getting regular mazda 3 pads (which - as said earlier - are different) |
