| Not Ranked : 0 score I'll look more up later. Or if anyone else has any of those links, or any of the info I didn't find (dashed out prices or part numbers), they are more than welcome - invited actually - to post them. I PM'd Raider to merge the MS6 info into the 1st post as well. But I'm signing off for the night. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Are any of the rotors lightweight blanks? I usually go with OEM rotors because I get a discount, but if there were some good, lightweight ones, I'd probably go that way. I do 99% street driving, so slotted or drilled rotors are more trouble to me than they're worth.

| Not Ranked : 0 score [QUOTE=IshiKage;1279664]yuh[/QUOTE How is the quality of the rotors? The have good prices and have a combination of f&r rotors with ceramic pads for 322 shipped, not too bad if you ask me.. I remember there was an eBay vendor popular for nissans called 88 rotors and they're rotors were very good. So I have nothing against eBay stuff.. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score For MS6, pads subsections read "front" and "front", should be "front" and "rear". I have the OEM front brake pads # as GPYA-33-23ZG, not GPYA-33-2326? Looks like Porterfield makes both the front and rear brake pads for the speed6. The pads come in two flavors: R-4 – original road racing compound that is very rotor friendly and easy to modulate, has medium friction with a 0-1400 temp range. Optimum temp range for this pad is 450F–1200F. R4-S – performance street pad, this pad offers the least dust and squeal of any of the street pads we carry. It is very rotor friendly and will last as long as your stock pad but typically they last a little bit longer.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Is anyone using the Carbotech XP10 (CT915A-XP10 front/CT1095-XP10) or XP8 (CT915A-XP8/CT1095-XP8) or any onther carbotech brake pad (1521? AX6?)? I'm looking for an optimal combination for spirited street use and I have no idea what to go for. I was thinking at EBC Premium or Turbogroove with EBC YellowStuff pads, but considering the numerous reports about quality issues and poor braking I tend to go with some DBA T3 (DBA42962S fornt and DBA42957S rear) with either yellowstuff or carbotech pads. The reason why I'm not going with Centric/Stoptech is that the price is about the same here and I think DBA may be at least as good if not better.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Actually our vendors have a pretty good price for the stoptechs... to now I consider these an option as well as they may come a bit cheaper than the DBA T3s (slotted) even including shipping and import taxes. However, how are the carbotech 1521 pads compared to stoptech street performance? I'm interested in all aspects: braking power, noise, dust.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I plan to use 1521s as my next street pad so I can use XP12s/XP10s on track without having to switch rotors like I do now (as Carbotech claims this can be done successfully). I don't yet have any experience with them though... I'm currently using the Stoptech Street Performance Pads on the street and find them to be a good substitute for the OEM pads. Maybe not quite as much initial bite as the OEM pads but they handle heat at least as well. ...and they have better bite than Hawk HPS for sure.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hawk HPS pads + Powerslot rotors (slotted, not drilled) = good maintenance free choice. If you don't mind cleaning your wheels every week, man up to the HP+ pads.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I've been running the Hawk HP+ front and HPS rear with slotted Powerslots all around for 6 months now. I should have switched the Hawks around to have the beefier pads on the rear. That being said, the HP+ make a helluva noise. I've scared the shit out of many a pedestrian in a crosswalk that I was pulling up to. The novelty and occasional apology is getting old - so is the noise; a constant squealing when the brakes are cold, which they always are in city driving. One last thing; the HP+ will eat your rotors. I needed them turned after only 4.5 - 5 months of use. Save 'em for the track...

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yellowstuff ms6 front: Dp41773R no yellowstuff rears (called EBC said a new part number was created so maybe they will be making some, told me to go with redstuff rears). Also noticed new Hawk pads on tirerack: http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...7&autoModClar= Then how come OEM and every other pad has a different part number between MS6/3? even Hawk HP Plus are different part numbers. redstuff diffferent. ive spend all day looking at fucken pads I may be going crazy.

The Hawk brake pad catalog has the same pad for MS3/MS6: Cobalt Friction listing redirects to the same pad for MS3/MS6, for example, the XR1 pads for MS3 and MS6 both have the same part #, CRB-XR1-GA1186-19.0MM.
