Default Cx7 knock

Ok folks I know about all the trouble with the cx7 with the timing chains and all well I didn't know this when I bought my wife this car a year ago.

I have a 2007 cx7 2.3 turbo with 110,000 on the way home from doctor yesterday the car just quit running with no forewarning. I am pretty mechanically inclined so I have pulled the cam cover and all spark plugs. The timing chain is fine not loose and not broke. The motor turns over but has no compression and makes a loud knock when it turns over also the motor is about 2,000 out from needing an oil change and noticed that the motor still has oil but is not touching the dip stick but the timing chain is still picking up oil.

Any help will be greatly appreciated I don't know anything about these motors
