Rod Knock

Hi, I have a 2008 Mazda CX-7 with a 2.3L turbo engine that has a rattling noise coming from the oil pan. I recently replaced the VVT actuator as well as the timing chain to combat the chain rubbing on the top of the valve cover. The engine was making this noise before, but I can't tell what is causing it. I pulled the oil pan and the rod bearings have minimal wear and the crank journals look good. I've included a video of the engine making the rattling noise. I only notice this noise when the engine is idling as I can't hear it when I accelerate.

Here is a picture of the condition of one of the rod bearings. I cannot catch my finger nail on the bearing surface.
