there are some cooler hood pins out there you might like called aero or something, google it, if you like it who cares what everyone else thinks, its your car

If you have a TMIC it would be most beneficial I suppose. I don't love it or hate it, but I love the look of the OEM MS6 hood.

The only real issue is the hood is like $900 ... I'm trying to source it for cheaper.. but it's only made in Japan.. n reach hood is made to order.

The OEM hood from the dealer is around $500 - $600 now. I bought one last year.

Rice. Just wrap the hood or get it repainted. You're going to replace it with a new hood that will also need to be painted to avoid painting the stock hood?

Move somewhere with some snow and you will find out how quick your hood will rust.
Stock hood has poor drain holes. Salty water gets in and rusts under the paint and bubbles right along the leading edge.
I need a new hood as well as every other MS6 I have seen in the NE area.

The NE uses an inordinate amount of salt compared to the rest of the country.
and is it just me or is the ms6 hood the heaviest hood on the PLANET. The prop rod bends under the weight of it! I'd love for their to be an aluminum hood option to cure both issues.

Can't say i'm a huge fan. Always been a fan of the MS6 because it didn't draw unnecessary attention to itself.

Lets be realistic though, do you really think the company who makes this hood put ANY thought into how well it will drain? I seriously doubt it.

Absolutely not.
But gives me a fresh new hood which I can modify with better drain holes.
Plus the extra air on my TMIC would be nice.
I'm already shooting for the Special Olympics MS6 category with 450HP through a tmic
