Stated the Wiring.

Super slick DIY Fuse panel has 2 8Ga rails. I only have one rail done (10 Leads) but you get the idea.

I have it going to a Distribution block rather than hooking direct.

- The wires can be untangled very easily.
- If something becomes broken or is upgraded, the original wires are able to be left alone, and the new wires are simply connected to the distribution block.

Hmm.
I've read mixed reviews on KSports. What made you go with them (sponsor)?

Those reviews were from the original launch. There were some issues with consistent spring rates. That was a couple of years ago, plus normally you only read negative reviews. The people who like them are out driving... The people who don't are at their PC Bitching about it.. LOL

Either way, If I don't like them I will simply buy something else.. I am quite particular

If that's the driver-front, they're on backwards.
I don't understand why some companies tell you or show them @ shows installed that way. It makes all the brake dust go down towards the center where it's losing velocity and so-on vs. the other way around.

Ummm, What you cant see is more important is the direction of the ventilated disk. I honestly don't care where the dust is going to go, because 1/100th of a second after the dust is formed, it is GONE because the disk is turning 2000-3000 RPM.

The Vent will only work in this direction, so the disks are installed properly.

No problems, I took them to KVR a local outlet of a brake company. They have a machine that is designed to drill brakes. I kept a close eye on the disks and I am happy to report, that no cracks ever showed up over several years of hard use.

The K-Sport struts are much more the strut than the Tein I had on since 2004.

There are three places to adjust.

The Endlink tab is totally adjustable for Rotation and Height.
The Spring Height
The Strut Height

I would NOT EVER RECOMMEND this setup for Daily Driving anywhere near salt or even salt dust. The entire thing is Aluminum and about 50% the weight of the Teins, which is obviously Great News!

You can see the last picture, I finally have a proper solution to prevent the strut piston from flying through the OEM Rubber mount.

Got the Fuel system adapters, These are very very hard to find and are the true way to make any upgrade hook up perfectly (Leak Free and reliable) to the fuel system.

So I am replacing the fuel lines from and to the Rail from the tank with AN6 Steel Braided Hose. I am preparing for the future with a larger size than is required. The Orange ends you see will attach to the OEM fitting perfectly and reliably. They can be removed if required but that is not the plan.

The Fuel will leave the Tank and enter the Perrin Fuel rail with an AN6 Russel Fitting. I have an adaptor that makes the exit hole (Where the stock FPR would be) into an AN6 Russel Fitting. The regulator will be mounted close and all fittings and lines are Steel Braid and Russel fittings.

The lines are rated to 1000 PSI so they should be perfect and reliable for 55 - 70 PSI Fuel.

I would like to avoid fuel lines inside the car..

I have already altered the OEM bracket to support the extra hose size. I do not have a Charcoal canister so the third line that goes to the tank has been removed, thus making room..

The lines are actually already attached, and run to the front.

I need to cut the Lines and attach the fittings. I am going to wait to cut the lines until I can see what length I need, then I will likely add 6 Inches to what is required so there is some give in the system. Nice big radius turns are always better..

So the fuel line size is apparent in these pictures.

I will get the Fuel Pressure Regulator placed on the firewall and get the fuel lines installed tomorrow.

I am also going to try to get the AEM CDI installed and fire up the engine to test out the new ignition.

I am waiting on some custom brake lines which are going to prevent me from taking the car for a drive and testing out the Go-Pro...

Thanks to Jeremy @ Elite Mazda for stopping by for Coffee and doping off some much needed parts...

When I removed the bolts that held the Tein-SS, I noticed that they were very difficult to remove plus they got very very warm, I did not want to reuse the bolts and after 10 Years of use, they owed me nothing.

Decided to replace them with OEM Grade 10 Bolts because some things are just not worth being cheap on...

Big Props for Etienne for setting up a front bushing order and also stopping by today for a Coffee and discussing suspension geometry Theory.

Changing the brakes means that the original ratio is wrong between the front and rear.

This is an adjustable brake bias controller.

My Rims can't ever have a center cap, something to do with it being stupid to have the cap on, if you are taking ounces of weight off with fancy nuts.. LOL

There are so many Honda threads..

New Rims from my Trip to Toronto. They are WORK Emotion KAI, in a non standard Finish, Semi Gloss Black. They are about 9 Pounds lighter (Each) than the other rims, and the tires are 3 Cm Wider than Standard. Big thanks go to Scott (TO Protege). They need to be rebalanced with the weights in a different location, there is 4mm-6mm of clearance from the caliper to the Rim. LOL The weights will not pass between.

Installed the AEM Ignition Box. Now that this is located, I can start to wire in the Coils.

Still waiting on some AN3 Brake Lines, but the Bias Adjustment is installed.

(Yes I know I can be in the Car)
(No I do not want it in the car, H8TRs)

The Caliper is literally the width of the interior of the entire Rim. It is Directly center in the Rim and has 8mm Clearance from the Spokes, and 5mm from the inside of the wheel.

There is a Custom Bracket that was milled out of a solid chunk of metal specifically for This Car. It took over three months to get the kit made. It is also a point to note that BLACK is now a standard finish, only after I asked for it.

SO I did end up with Option One. (Sorry to the members who liked #2)

I need to finish up the Loam with Black Tape. I find it's the best way to make something that is Different Blend in and look like it is supposed to be there..

I will De-Conflict the wires a bit and tape them down On Wednesday.

So I got some progress on the brakes. The front brakes are finished. The Rear are waiting on the Handbrake, but the remainder of the parts are here.

-AN3 Teflon/Stainless Braid Lines.
-Banjo Fittings
-Compression Fittings
-K-Sport Hydraulic Handbrake

A Comparison of 4 215 Tires vs a 225 Tires

Quite a difference.

With the new Rims being Black, The MP5T is getting a huge face lift.

Silver Decals Removed
Silver Decal Replaced on Friday with a Flat Black one.
Silver Tinting is being replaced with Black.

Thank Christ for Goo Gone.

NAKED CAR!

Send me a pm if you don't want to clutter your thread. Please.
The choice was simple. The rims and tires were from another member. I bought them from him complete and it's what He had on his car. I am going to try them out this summer and see if they are good or not. I have the car corner balanced so the rear and front don't Tuck In at all. Normally this would rub like a Mother F$@#er.

So User Name JUDMAN13 from www.themazdaforum.com You get a GOLD STAR! for a Fantastic Idea.

I like Fantastic ideas SO MUCH, that I had it done only 2 Days after it was suggested.

The MP5T

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-

Today, Nothing too hard, more precise. and the Rims were dropped of to get balanced, so don't bother to ask to see it with the rims.

The car is going BLACK...

Because I have a PS1000 From HALTECH. I literally have 14 Inputs for various things.

I decided to Log the Fuel Pressure twice, at the Regulator and on the Rail. Should be interesting to see if they are the same off and on load. Could be helpful in tuning and managing the fuel.

Ummm, DUH, Did you see the 4.12mm Of Clearance between the inside of the Rim and the Caliper attached to the 14" Disk.

Just so you know...
4 millimeters = 0.157480315 inches

0.157480315 inches is less than 1", so I can't fit an 17" Rim on unless you have a magic physics ray...

Besides, these 18" Rims are 16 Lbs, which are lighter than most peoples 16" Rims...
