(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  My car is a clone So I have an interesting situation on my hands. I bought a 2003 MazdaSpeed protege in July on 2016... or at least I thought I did. As it turns out, one of the previous owners put a turbo and a poorly refurbished exhaust manifold on the Protege block, along with an MSP intercooler and proper intercooler pipes. The car runs but it has a really rough idle, it sputters and has really jerky acceleration. I assume these issues are caused by having Protege injectors as well as a Protege ECU. Would tuning the Protege ECU fix my issues? Maybe buy an MSP ECU and MSP injectors? Also, if I was to get it tuned, anyone know a good tuner shop in Wisconsin? |
