CDFP Core Refund?

Look guys I think Ive been very patient about getting my refund, when is it coming?

Heres my story:

I contacted cpe prior to ordering their pump since their site said they were out of stock and I was looking for a lead time on when they would be back in stock. The very pleasant lady on the other end told me they were in stock and I could get one now. I asked about the core refund and was told that within 5 buisness days of them recieving my pump I would have a credit on my card. Cool, so I ordered the pump.

My pump was delivered on mon jan 30th, I called and made sure they did recieve it, which they did and was told that I should see my refund by fri. Fri the 4th came and went so I called on mon the 6th and was told that i would have my refund by wed the 8th. Again no refund, so I figured id give them the rest of the week and call on mon the 13th, yesturday if I still hadnt recieved my refund.

I called yesturday and spoke with Joe, who was very polite and gave him my info and he said hed figure out what had happened and call my back. No call.

So today I call and talk with Joe again and am told that my pump along with several other peoples pumps are sitting on some guys desk and hopefully this guy will get these pumps looked at in the next couple of days and then credited.

WTF CPE i was told that my pump was already looked at on the 6th and they were just doing the paperwork. Now im finding out none of this is true? Its the 15th now and even if you processed it today I probably would see my money before the 20th. I am not impressed with your customer service. Thank god I didnt send you my pump prior to purchase otherwise my car would have been down for at least a month.

arggg. I'm a fan of CP-E's parts, but this has been an issue that needs resolving for a long time.

I would be perfectly fine to deal with a timeline thats being followed.

I don't know why they seem to wait until they have a bunch of pumps to inspect so they can do them all at once. Do them one at a time as they come in so the first guy isn't waiting for the last guy's to be inspected.

I feel your pain, same thing, fortunately they some other parts I wanted so we swapped out, parts for my refund. The problem was they then decided to start sending we invoices for the parts, this would have been okay if they would have sent some cash, but they never happened. I had to then make several calls until things got corrected. Book keepers are cheap, get one.

Filing a grievance with the BBB would make them put some pep in their fucking step because the lying is becoming fucking pathetic.

Since Jake left you guys (CP-E) have shown little to no interest in helping any of the people/customers that are on the forums who are willing to spend their hard earned money on your products while getting jerked around the entire time. Bad business.

Best of luck Ian it's a shame they're wasting your time. I say you go down there and show them what a marine is capable of lol

We are sorry that you're waiting, we are aware that we have turn around time problems on HPFP cores. The individual who does HPFP core inspections does a myriad of other things that often sidetrack core inspections, and as a result lead to longer return times.

Not that it's any excuse, although we are very understaffed (more so now than ever), and we're starting to feel the effects of this. There are always so many things going on here, it's easy to lose track of how long we've had person X's core. I can tell you personally that they are almost done.

If you email me your name, I'll try and make sure that he looks at and approves (if in fact it is OK) the core today.

At a certain point credits need to be posted, especially to customers who were given a turn around time frame. Whether or not staff is short or people are doing to many things at once, that is not the customer's fault. OP should have been credited long before this once they confirmed receipt of the product.
I would lose my job if this happened. I'm in the position of the person doing the evaluations. I have had to work longer hours in order to process returns and credit customers.
I'm sure you all are doing what you can with what you got, but it probably wouldn't hurt to look at setting up a

I looked up the BBB and couldnt find them as a member so filing a grievence is pointless.

Thank you for ressponding and crediting my account, however, you guys really need to fix this admin issue you have. I feel that it is poor buisness to make your customers bitch and moan until we get what was promised. I somehow doubt that it was a coincidence that the day I started this post I got a credit 15 mins before close of buisness. Theres no reason why you guys cant manage to test and credit pumps once a week.

I would have made the 4hr drive to their shop and recieved it in cash. That is completely uncalled for and ridiculous.

This worries me. But at the same time, I'd use the refund on a TBE.

If it goes long enough to the point that you are about to pay off the credit card bill with the full charge, I would make sure to dispute it before paying it. The credit card company will pull the full amount from cp-e until the issue is resolved, which will probably be pretty damn quick once they notice.

I've been waiting 6 weeks for a refund. However, I'm holding off on complaining about that one because I've been waiting 5 weeks for them to replace an intercooler that was mis-shipped.

i would be asking for full refund on the fmic and core refund immediately and take my business elsewhere. if they didnt do this immediately i would call my cc company and do a chargeback. this is the reason they dont accept paypal. their shit would be locked down all the time. im guessing you done live close enough to drive their, cuz id be shitting on someones desk to get my money.

This is why you need to buy parts from mazda specific vendors only; they are in the game more seriously. I find they are typically higher quality parts in general.

I have CP-Es RMM and I like it, but I have to say, from all the complaints about anything and everything, big or small, it makes me discouraged to want to look to you guys in the future. And that sucks, because you guys are local to me.

Hope you guys get things together, from what I've seen, it looks like you make a good product.
