(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey I know you guys were asking for ideas on hardparts last time I was there. What about a short DP? Then when my shitty Corksport pipe cracks I can get yours and not have to spend 1000000 dollars and buy an exhaust system too. People with Vibrant exhausts and that already own test pipes would probably appreciate a QUALITY short DP on the market. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score For the right price it easily could be done with what they already have...a custom piece. but i doubt they'll make a production piece. at whatever point your interested in this let me know. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would be really interested to see if they could do it with the catted version and what the price is...understanding that this is custom work I would pay top dollar... |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Why would you want a cat that close to the turbo? A full length DP with cat would work the same and is avalible currently. I am more asking because if the pipe fits in the stock location its less pipe and a flange away from being a possibility for a short DP that bolts up. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score For some reason they look cheap to me. Pics of them look decent but in person they look cheap sitting next to a CP-E unit.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I personally feel that they are designed like shit. The divorced pipe is blocked by the wastegate door opening. Some are starting to crack (it wouldn't be as bad if the one I saw cracked wasn't owned by a guy whos Cork exhaust also cracked repeatedly). The bolt holes on the turbo flange are 2 times bigger than they need to be. |

The CPE is made from pretty thick steel. I don't think its gonna crack. Last edited by Speedie6; 10-06-2008 at 09:30 AM.

![]() If there's enough interest then we can make whatever you want. The key is that there has to be a market for it. But so that I don't 'lead you on' so to speak, the guys have a lot of other parts that they're working on currently, so there would have to be a lot of demand for the shorty version. Also, Lou put in a purchase order for the analog input cards and water/meth boards, and we should be getting those in shortly. He also sent over some pricing information to Josh and myself, so we're going to discuss it and I'm hoping to have a final MSRP and ETA by the end of this week.
