| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm late to the party but not too late to unleash my divine judgement. Original invoice?! ![]() That receipt request so late in this process for a "lock out" product only offered by CPE and through authorized retailers as well as the snide email signature from the smart guy CSR has shaken my confidence enough to stay away from CPE products moving forward. (I think I see where the catch point was in this process btw) Doublecheck. This thread has just become a point of reference for any future recommendations (or lack thereof). The fellas over there at CPE however have a big chance to save a lot of face that's currently covered with egg. Allow me to help with step one: as the new self proclaimed VP of personnel for CPE I hereby fire the idiot signing his emails with the crude frustrated language of their understandably upset customer. Used as ammo indeed. Not taking customers frustration personally is the first step to even decent customer service aka what you are paid for as a representative of the company. Oh and step two should be obvious: get a process in place to fix these cars ASAP. As it stands, when the bushings on my "stage 2" RMM (which I like) fail (which they no doubt will eventually) I'll just replace it entirely. Which i may do anyway, we'll see how things go here. /rant/heavysmite

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hi i was on the same boat I bought stand back and had ecu reflash done with CPe . Tried to Cobb installed but no go. Even the dealer could not get in. New ecu required . I took it to total mps in uk and was cracked and unlocked within a day . He did say its prob the toughest code to get crack but was fully working and Cobb installed and was done free. If you don't mind it shipped to uk and its a stock tune or unlock he doesn't charge . Works on all speeds world wide |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Piasini locked it? Or was it something with Lou's coding? Also CPe doesn't give a shit. You ALL need to understand that...they are smoke and mirrors unless you have money, then they love you...then fuck you when your done and I don't mean that in a good way. So... until CPe doesn't clear this shit up, and answer the many questions in their section they can really go screw themselves. I like how they go and post about events and product/sales but never actually help the end user when they have an issue. BEWARE ALL POTENTIAL CPE CUSTOMERS :- Their warranty is shit, and don't count on it EVER helping you...EVER.

Few of us got a Piasini tune... Tune was fine until you started adding more mods because it was a "blanket" tune... it would be a very expensive proposition to have them re-tune you each time. the shit worked for the most part except having to disconnect the SWAS. NYPEST invested in a custom tune that he had all rights to. He was selling this same tune on a few cars here.. probably around 20 or so. Then CPE ended up with a Piasini tune somehow.... Lou modified the code for the FCF that people paid like $600 for.

| Not Ranked : 0 score If Steve cant help you... I wont even mention CPe bunch of fucktards they are, I have another solution. I pretty much know the person that did alot of the ECU decoding I can ask if they can do something for ya, no guarantees though. Also I personally think it was Lou that did the locking as it would fit the standard CPe modus operandi to do something like this and leave it.

From the beginning, you had told the guy to buy an ecu. Your computer is broken. "Sorry we fucked your couch. Thank you for supporting us this long, here is a cheque to go buy a new ecu" is what should have been said if there was nothing else you thought you could have done for him. Now versatune is picking up your slack, and you're "working with them to get this resolved." More like "we're back peddling so we don't look AS bad."

OP if you are in Texas contact Joe @ Dynotronics and he might be able to sort you out assuming he still has his Piasini gear.
I had a Piasini flash from Joe @ dynotronics. Bought an accessport when it was released for Gen2 and flashed over without any issue. I do know that the ECUTek flash is bullshit in that it changes things around so that your shit gets locked down. If it is Piasini CPE must have enabled some sort of optional setting that locks the shit down.

| Not Ranked : 0 score After a month, it would probably have been cheaper to just buy OP an ECU to get reloaded at the dealer. That's my take. But I know Steve@Versatune is working hard to help. I just want OP to get his problem fixed. Huge PR mess. I wonder if Lou would come back to CPE to fix the computer and show them how to unlock the ECU. Or even just tell them what to do. That is probably the quicker fix. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score $50 says their computer with all the stock backups on it crashed/is gone so they have no way to return the ECU back to factory state for each vehicle. I remember watching Joe do it to my car and he first made a backup of my ROM w/ all attached information so we could flash back to stock if needed. The Piasini windows executable looked janky as fuck BTW. Was a window with fucking Mario on it and a few buttons.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Now @www.cp-e.com; My ecu still has the flashes on it also and I need them GONE. What is being done with The OP and how does everyone else get their ecu's taken care of too? This whole issue isn't going to be resolved until every ecu that you guys touched is fixed if need be.. |
