Default New(?) cp-e TMIC Recieved
I received my new (?) cp-e TMIC (MS3 Gen1) yesterday. I purchased the TMIC from RPM, and the TMIC was shipped from cp-e. When I opened the box (packaging in good shape) I discovered that the TMIC appears to be in used condition. It does not look like the shiney pictures on the cp-e site. The end tanks are all scuffed up, some fins are damaged, and I can see washer imprints from a previous install(?). Also, I did not receive any hardware (bolts, washers, brackets) or instructions. I opened a support ticket with RPM and sent some pics. RPM responded very quickly and have forwarded all info to cp-e for comment. I'm waiting for cp-e's response.

Can anybody who has ordered/or seen a new cp-e TMIC for an MS3 comment on my pictures. The TMIC does not look like a new TMIC to me.

This is correct. Our shipping person has been fired because of all these mistakes. We tried to work with him as the job market is a tough one, but due to the amount of mistakes made we were forced to let him go. This package is a prime example. We are VERY sorry that this item was shipped to a customer and are already in the process of remedying the situation with the customer. We appreciate your patience with us are we re-tool.

That's pretty much how mine looked and my buddy installed his with me (DingoDave) took his out of the box in front of me and both of ours looked a lot like that. we were so happy after waiting almost a month for them we installed them. No problem with performance whatsoever, the shroud could have looked better but I didn't buy for its
looks alone but it's performance and so far so good. Well after looking more closely at mine not as bad as yours, GL.

Update. Cp-e have been very responsive since I started this thread. Am working with Chunie now to arrange shipping for the new TMIC, and to send the old one back. They have been very appologetic.
