Didn't you just post the same question in the other forum and get your answer?

Sorry about that. I'm not sure why the Cp-e would make 2 different TMIC for two different gens. My CS was on a first gen and now fits perfect on my second gen.

No worries man! It beats me how it's designed like that. It's just so hard to pass up a $100 cpe tmic basically from the same car but a different year lol

Jesus Christ. They will both bolt up and function. The only thing that is different is the brackets that hold the shroud. In the Genwon design the shroud utilizes the air that was designed to come in from the grill. The Genpu design utilizes the hood scoop. If you buy this intercooler it will not mate up with your hood scoop. But if you can scoop it up for $100 and you have an AP to monitor BATs and you would rather spend your funds elsewhere on your build... go ahead. You can always sell it if you're VIP.

I'm guessing that's a piece of an aluminum sheet that's screwed on top? I think I can do that to make it work

Do you know whose genpu this is? I can try and ask the owner for the dimensions of the aluminum sheet.

It was me. If you notice that the shroud doesn't mate up with the bracket like it should. If it is loose it will knock around setting off the KR falsely. Just giving you a heads up if you decide to Frankenstein something. I do not have these parts anymore. Marlin at Edge Autosport worked with me to address the problem and got it exchanged.
