Default Am I safe? Stage 2 v1.03 Final

This is a datalog of a recent run I did yesterday afternoon. This was logged with Stage 2 v1.03 Final 91oc+fmic+sri.

I just wanted to get some feedback if my fuel pressure looks good and my afrs look good and if there is anything I should be worried about. I'm not the best at reading these so any advice or feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for your help
Eric

fuel pressure looks great until 6000 rpms...
throughout this graph, your throttle is also at 74% at its highest...are you flooring it?
and the afr is kind of rich, but whatever

mine datalogger shows the same exact thing its some kind of glitch or whatnot. he's wideopen though.

fuel pressure looks good. those are pretty good numbers. they say < 1400 psi is when you should start to become concerned, and you will also see some knock to go with the decreased fuel pressure.

I've found letting the coolant get up to temp makes a big difference in KR also.

So move back to v1.03 beta? I had good luck with v1.03L as my car ran nice with it.

74% is max throttle reading on AP. your graphs look good. i think you FP drop at 6000rpm there is because you shifted or let off the throttle. nice log.

I just switched back over to the Stage 2 v1.03L 91+FMIC+SRI map. This map runs a little leaner then the v1.03 final and i've always loved this map. I'll get a few hundred miles on this map and do another pull to compare results. So far with v1.03L my KR is slim to none and if it ever does result, it's usually only .7 at max where v1.03 final I would hit 5.1KR (after a cold start) intermittently and NOT at WOT.

Is that the stock fuel pump holding that good? I'm suprised that map runs so rich and has that low boost. I'd expect more from a stage2+fmic map. But safe it is, which is good.

Yes I am running the stock fuel pump still as that has never been changed out or adjusted.

I don't think that map is supposed to have such low boost and run that rich. What are your ltft's? Why would stage 2+sri+fmic only hold 15psi when on stage 1+ sri I hold close to 19psi? Something is not right.

What is the easiest way to check for a boost leak? I must have had a boost leak for quite sometime then, when I ran my last dyno I was running Stage 2 v1.03L 91+fmic+sri beta map and my best run with my mods was 281whp/339lb-ft with a max boost of 16.1psi is what the dyno pulled. I was running on a Maha 3100 dyno.

I guess I can tear my car apart and check to make sure all t-clamps are tight. I've heard of people having issues with the HKS SSQV BOV, should I consider putting the stocker back on or would that have bigger chances of leaking?

you can build a simple tester. just search google for boost leak tester and i'm sure there will be tons of examples. i just bought a pipe cap that fits on my 2.25" piping and drilled a hole int he middle and put a tire valve stem. that way i can use my air compressor to fill the pipes.

hmm we'll see what i can find as far as making one. I'm not to handy when it comes to fabricating things. The one that is already made looks like a cheap way out. For $20 and saving me time may be worth it.

Is your dp catted?
As others have stated your boost is too low for your mods.

My DP is catted yes.

I took off the bumper yesterday and went through and tightened all my t-clamps for all the intercooler piping. Checked all the vaccum lines that I could find to make sure they were secure. I have no idea why I can't maintain my boost.

Lets say I DONT have a boost leak, what other problems could it be? Could the wastegate be a problem from allowing me to keep 18-19psi through 6k rpm?

I'm bet it's just the 91oct map that is giving you low boost. On stage1+ 91oct I held 16-17psi. Same map but 93oct, I held 18-19psi.

When you switched to the 93oct map, what oct fuel were you running? Were you putting 91, 92 or 93 oct fuel in your car?

Matrix,
I have almost the exact same mods as you except I have hks step colder plugs, stock BPV, RPMC inlet, and pg cdfp internals.
I just bought a used AP to run and compare to what I was able to tune my standback for. I removed my standback completely and loaded up this same map on my car. I have about 100 miles on it right now and did a quick 4th gear WOT log just now up to almost 6000 rpm.
My boost falls to 16 towards 6000 rpm but not close to as quick as yours and my AFR's are closer to 12....

Here's my graph.....

Maybe try your stock bpv???

Ya your car is nearly identical to mine and you sure do hold boost a lot better. I did put my stock BPV back on over the weekend, i'll take it out and get a solid 4th GR WOT run to compare the differences. Hopefully I can 16psi+ through redline so we'll see. I'm losing a ton of power

Matrix,
Here are the graphs from logs i did today.
I'm really liking how this final 103 map feels and how my logs look.
I was never able to tweak in my boost or AFR this good with the standback.....
I did 6 runs, 2 of them had a bit of knock but i could see from the logs that the ecu pulled timing and went rich to counteract the knock.....

Here are the other 4 logs....... I'm definitely holding boost better then you were with your earlier logs...

lookin good. I'm going to go out behind my house and do a few runs to see how the stock bpv is holding my boost vs the hks ssqv. That may or may not be a problem so we'll see. The car overall feels more zippy to me with the stock bpv, but who knows.

FWIW, I just did a log on the Cobb no meth versus with meth and this is on the stock BPV ... take a look at that boost curve - yep that's 19 psi in the mid-6000's ... stock BPV FTW!

P.S. I love that AFR and boost curve ... Christian's done a bang-up job on this map (MS6 not MS3).

Thanks for your help

You probably could lean it out a bit in spots, but looks like a safe tune. The question is, how does it feel to you? Don't forget, unless someone is doing on the spot tuning on a dyno, your never going to get a perfect tune. Safe is perfect in this case.

What do your logs look like with the L beta map???
Could you post some?
Still using the stock BPV or your HKS again?
Thanks...

Here is a 4th gear run from 3-18-09 with about 90 miles on the ECU after I put the stock BPV back on. This was with Stage 2 91oct v1.03L beta map. I want to go do another run today, i've got over 500 miles on the ECU with the v1.03L beta map and stock BPV together. So it may be a little more accurate.

3-18-09 v1.03L Beta Stage 2 91oc fmic+sri with stock BPV
