Cobb Tuning Catback Exhaust Review

thanks for the write up.

any plans to install the cobb downpipe?
and if so, will the dp +cat back exhst still pass emissions and meet the limited noise restrictions?

i looked at the downpipe w/ the cbe exhaust from cobb but was concerned about flunking emissions and getting extra fisheye from the fuzz. neither would be good. i think the OC cops have a special eye out for the tuners these days.

Ill be doing the downpipe next. No, it will NOT pass Ca emissions due to the removal of one cat, with 1 high flow cat added and moved, from its original location.

What i will tell you is, if you go with a DP regardless who makes it, the Catback from Cobb will keep it quiet and the cops wont even look at you.

so its more quiet than the GHL, was the GHL known as a quiet exhaust? Just wish there was a way for me to compare the noise level since ive never heard a GHL.

The front section is quite light. The heaviest part is at the muffler. The rear exhaust tip section is very light. No idea on weight.

Haltech, pull that exhaust off right now and weigh it...... how could you even think of posting a review with out weighing it first....

Find someone(haltech?) who bought the catback to look up their tracking number and see if fedex/ups gives the weight of the package?

Yes, a CS racepipe. Ive had it for months and wanted something shiney to install for exhaust reviews. It will be off the car as soon as my DP comes in.
