(Thread Starter) | Neutral : +1 score So, I finally got these 18 x 8.5/38 offset Evo X's wrapped in 235/40/18 Nitto NT555's today. I am really liking the look. I previously fitted the Mazda centre-caps to which went in no problem. There is a bunch of rubbing in the rear if I don't take it slow but I am going to raise the rear suspension between 3-5 mill, roll the rear fenders a lot more thoroughly and grind back the joins where the rear bumper meets the rear fender to eliminate any rubbing. Please excuse the very poor photography. Last edited by zooomMPS3; 05-29-2014 at 11:11 PM. Reason: Pictures |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Same as above, rubbed like a mofo even with rolled fenders. Added some negative camber and it's gone.

| Not Ranked : 0 score looking good, it seems very familiar just on a juan instead of poo. i need to get mine rolled still but the rubbing really isn't too bad. 245/40 falkens, which run a little narrow so probably fit a little more like 235's and on swift springs.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah this is why I went with 235's instead of 245's. With 245's the rubbing would have been destructive. As it is I have to be careful because after half a day the join where the rear bumper meets the fender has been slightly pushed out. It's an easy fix thankfully. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah so, really liking the wheels, the rubbing in the rear..... not so much. Today I got the rear raised a bit, some edges of the rear fenders ground, and a bit more of a roll. Thing is, its still rubbing a bit. This I expect but its gonna be a drag if I have passengers in the rear so now I am contemplating getting the rear fenders professionally widened slightly in a way that keeps the original shape of the fender. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Can you tell where its rubbing exactly? Maybe just attack that section with a vengeance. I know my car rubs on the joins, and I'll probably grind the tabs a bit more in a few weeks.
