Evo X Wheels + NT05s

Finally got my hands on some Evo X wheels, got them powder coated. Not sure of the color name, but its the color I described to the guy. They do look better in person, but I did my best to capture the color.

Looks awesome man! I'm pretty certain that I'll be powder coating my Evo X's that same color next year. You'll love these wheels, they just look right on this car. I see you've already rolled and pulled (I know because I have the same wave as you do on the drivers side). Did you trim the rear tab as well?

I rub on rare occasion over bumps at speed, and I've found that it's the tire making contact with the inner fender liner and front/back of the wheel well. Basically what I'm saying is don't sweat it, because it doesn't do damage to the car or the tire.

I did roll them,but going to roll further this weekend. Having 245 in the back probably won't work for me. It basically comes in contact with the fender on most bumps. I hate to go staggered, but I have no choice. However, I have not cut that tab out yet you're talking about. Planned to do it this weekend. I had rx8 wheels prior and they had no issues. Or before going to a 235, I may try stock springs. Not sure I'll like that though. I have konj yellows with h&r springs currently.

Yeah you are going to have to shave the crap out of the seam between the bumper and rear quarter panel. I'm running wide 235's and I have made contact with the sidewall, but it hasn't cut them. If you want to do it like a pro you should pull your spring and work the rear wheel through it's range of motion to figure out what has to go.

Evo X's = Constant rubbing despite rolled/pulled fenders etc etc.

LOVED the look, but don't miss the constant rubbing that I had with them on.

I believe he's running 235/40 on stock suspension. I ran two sets of 245/40 on stock suspension. Rear fenders rolled flat and slightly pulled. Fronts untouched. No rubbing

Update, I have Koni yellow's all around. I decided to stiffen the rear (I already have the jbr trilogy and a BSD, so I doubt I'll notice much more stiffness in the ride). This helped a ton with the rubbing. Not completely gone, but more bearable now.
