Default 18x9.5 +38 Gramlights 57dr Gun Blue

This is as aggressive as I'd ever consider. I have 235/40/18 Bridgestone Potenzas with a bit of stretch, but I think anything wider tire-wise would just be near impossible to fit. Camber wise, I've had to run an extra two degrees front and back to avoid rubbing. Rolled fenders and slightly pulled in the back with shaved bumper tabs. And voila, it doesn't rub, even with people in the back. I've got BC coilovers about 1/2" from slammed in the front, and the back springs probably have a little over 1" room of drop to go. The coilovers are set half way between full soft and full hard for damping (17 clicks from soft, actually). By the way, this setup has about 1mm!! clearance in the front between the inner lip of the wheel and the coilover. I recommend a 2-3mm spacer just to be safe.

Take some side profile shots to highlight the "poke" this setup has. And don't use the crappy phone that took that pic.

You would have been just as well off with 1" narrower wheels.

These do look great and I was just looking at these exact specs of 57DR's in same Gun Blue coating but meh, tired of dealing with +38 in the rear with these cars as I've ran 265's on 18x9 +38 and had to run -3 camber in rear with shaved tabs and pulled venders to not have bacon/buckled fenders after a few dips. They look great though man! CWP definitely pulls that combo off even if your tires are rubber-band size on em
I agree. A local guy was selling these for a great deal so I picked them up. I'll run them for now, but I'm on the lookout for a set of the same wheel in 18x8.5 +38. I've had these tires (Bridgestone S-02) on Evo X wheels and they fit quite well. I think going with a narrower wheel will be better in the long run than fitting a wider tire with this setup.

my goodness 265s. I guess you'd need that up front with a BT. Thanks for the input

@impossible What is the wheel/tire setup you had in that photo?

18x9" +38 MB Battles, got them for $250 from a local and just wanted to give 265's a try at the time. Really too much headache on these cars to run that kinda tire but was gonna give 275 a shot as well (hate is so much I wanna try it again lolol) on 18x9.5" RPF1 +45 with 5mm spacer in rear and 15mm spacer up front with some camber up front for an aggressive track look with 1.5" gap on every corner but I have to wait until after I get coilovers again to try to make it work and see if the shock bodies will be too wide on the inside for that kind've meet. I don't have fender liners anymore after having 1" gap on 265's and racing every weekend in Mexico so that's no longer an obstacle lol. Car looks damn good though man, definitely the first gen1 with those specs I've seen and I've seen them in 17x9 but just not a good look on these cars imo, look way too small :/

Thank you. More than anything, I posted so people could get an idea of what the wheels look like on the car. I haven't seen 57dr on a gen1 yet, besides my own.
