MS3 vs Newer Civic SI Boosted

We both randomly stop at a light, we exchange words, and he wanted to do a roll race w/me. The guy had a gt3030, running 16 lbs of boost, dyno'd at 350whp. We went from a roll 3rd gear 40 to 110, I beat him by half a car. We ran again, and I beat him by about 1/2 to a 1/4 of a car. Overall, I had fun, and I'm only on a conservative tune @ around 300whp, can't wait for some e85 loving @phate;

TL, DR - MS3 beats Turbo'd Newer Gen. Civic(350whp) by 1/2 car x 2.

Congrats on the kill. New SI are bloated, high riding buses. Not much difference between 9th gen SI and a CRV nowadays. Boosted EK's and Teg Type R's are decent machines. Why Honda went away from that and towards aping the heavy ass 'merican coupes is a mystery and a damn shame.

Sounds like driver fail for the Civic. Less torque but more power, lighter, and better gearing? Nice kill though.

Na it just had no aftermarket. Everything was buttloads of $$ for minimal gains. It was pretty maxed out from the factory if I'm not mistaken. That long ass 5spd trans hurt the car, although it was still pretty quick.
