Default Highest attainable boost in 1st?

So, based on engine load capabilities, whats the highest anyone is getting in 1st gear for boost? I'm not worried about torque steer since I have a somewhat smooth ramp up and the car really rocks and rolls. I'm getting about 13-14 max (holding in 1st) to 5000 rpm.

What are you getting?

(Mods: intake/inlet/tp)

Lol, this is a trick question right?

1st and 2nd and 3rd gear are very short gears.

I cant get enough traction to hold boost, plus trying to keep the car going straight I cant read the gauge, plus if I log it, first gear is over in like 0.5 seconds as it wheel spins to 7000 rpm.

I say the question is bullshit.

Better question, what have you reduced your load to in first gear using ATR to give you maximum acceleration and minimum wheel spin, would need tire type and width also.

1st gear takes 1.14 seconds to run out at 13psi. I find anything more than stock boost (11psi??)and you just spin.

With the standback you can see 20psi no prob. of course just for and instant before your spinning you tires.

if your not running drag slicks, what is the point of upping boost in 1st and second ??

both of these are nothing but spin city even at stock boost levels if you have just a few mods

Exactly!

I run TRL in the .30-.40 range for 1st = 8PSI [throttle closes to achieve lower than spring pressure boost]
Then TRL in the .50-.80 range for 2nd = 12PSI

very little spin in 2nd but still get plenty in first

I thought it would be an interesting question, not a trick one, but just a fun one to ask. I do hold boost in 1st, but only for a second and a half max. Fun responses!
