Default Torque damper

Does anyone know if the torque damper for the last gen will fit the 2010s? It looks like it should. I tried emailing Weapon R but they never responded..

Just get a motor mount. As far as fitment, I do not believe it will work.

Lots of cabin noise and vibration. Seriously, just buy a motor mount.

I actually got mine because of the balance shaft delete. Apparently you don't want an upgraded mount there because it makes vibes really bad. It isn't unbearable.

I'd still rock mine even if I was fully mounted.

I've had an ingalls damper on my last car(06cobalt super shitty)lol...but as far as the damper goes I found it was a smart buy and worked very well!! and I'm not sure but if the mounts are the same between the gen1 & 2 then it should work!

My only concern would be strut location and hood clearance.

I actually emailed Ingalls to find out abt a fitment for the 2012 MS3, no response yet, will advise.

I had teh RMM CPE V2 but suffered from a wobbly feeling a low speeds (someone commented that it could be harmonic balancers), the vibes was not an issue but I began to get a wobbly feeling on the front wheels, looked at every possible cause, finally ended up removing the CPE mount and placed in some CS inserts (still get a tad bit shake but its now tolerable).

Now I am looking at trying to stabalise the engine rocking under hard launches, this seems like the only route left.

Anyway will advise should I hear back from them

One of our local guys had one of these mounted on his car at the passenger side motor mount. I don't recall the brand tobe honest. The install was done properly and the nuts were torqued down as per factory instructions. I'm not sure how or why but a week later he heard a strange knocking sound the nuts on the torque damper were loose so he torqued them down again this time a little higher. The following week he got the same noise driving for work to a coffee shop literally 3mins away. This time he wasn't so lucky. The torque damper had come completely off and the motor dropped in the engine bay. Some emergency roadside assistance later we discovered the passenger motor mount had wedged itself into the timing cover and cracked it. We managed to use a heli coil and some JB weld to get the car running again however a timing cover replacement is needed. To those who have one I would check it periodically to make sure it's okay. To those who are looking at getting one I recommend you save your money and get a full set of mounts.

I've had my ingalls on for 2+years.
No issue. Guess I'm lucky.
Makes a little more noise in the winter, but once you realize what it is, it's nce.

Just sharing my experience and opinion on it. I've only ever seen the one installed on his car. Maybe his was faulty, I don't know and can't confirm. It was over a year and a half ago.

The nuts that are on the studs passenger side motor mount came loose, the movement of the motor then caused the studs to be pulled right out of the timing cover.

over 2 years here as well and I would go with this 4th mount option over the uber harsh PMM mod. That was my thinking back then and still holds true today.

I use red thread locker on everything engine mount or suspension related so I have never had any issues with things backing off. You do need the supplied spacers placed between the TC and mount or it will create a "spring" condition which might have lead to the failure.

Without the spacers, the ingals mount will not sit flush with the TC and I can see where the cyclic stress would loosen the nuts/studs up.
