Default Weird Issue

So I took the winter wheels off & put my stockers back on the car today. Everything goes back on like any simple wheel swap should. I rotated the tires like any other sensible person & put the car back on the ground...Heres where things get odd....

While driving the car the steering/handling feels incredibly unstable. I feel like i have to fight the steering wheel to get it to turn. The slightest of steering wheel movements produces a drastic jerk in the car with the steering wheel snapping back to center.

All tires are properly inflated. The two rear tires have more wear & slight cupping on the insides from last seasons autocrossing. The best I can figure is that maybe I have a wheel or two that didnt seat properly when I put the summer stockers back on the car....

Can anyone offer any other suggestions...(Ill be taking the wheels off and re-seating them in the morning)

Thanks

Whens the last time you had your alignment checked? When you accelerate does it pull to one side?

No pulling to one side during acceleration. Also never had the alignment checked or an alignment issue....Wouldnt think alignment when things were fine with winter setup on the car & then an hour later things arent fine w/ the summer setup on the car.

that has popped into my head actually. the front tires to the rear was a no brainer but the rears to the front could be mixed up. unfortunately during cleaning i scrubbed off where they were supposed to go....

is it possible that the wheels are out of balance?

fronts go directly to the back.. so front left to back left and front right to back right.

The backs swap.. so back right would go front left, back left would go front right.

check & check!

i went out this morning & re-swapped the two front tires and then re-torqued all 4 wheels. Then took the car out for a drive & to double check air pressures in tires....Whether it was the swap or the re-torquing I dont know but the car is handling like it should now!!

Once I got home I re-torques again just for good measure.

Thanks for the ideas......
