| Not Ranked : 0 score those are all quality companies however i would suggest corksport, ultimate racing, and cp-e which you already have listed though. HKS does not make a genpoo exhaust yet as far as i know. and even if they did itd probably be a single outlet which would look stupid as fawk.

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you are looking for performance, than an Cat-back exhaust is not the answer. The $$ per hp is really high on a CBE. A race pipe(RP) will help the sound of the exhaust some, and give you a decent performance boost. |

The gen 1s have a straight single exhaust which will work better on a turbo car then the gen2 dual tip. Corksport 80mm cat back and race pipe review See this thread, and remember, Nate has a conservative tune... For now. There are a couple of knowledgeabe guys in that thread mentioning the bigger hp gain possibilities in a gen2. And yes, I understand it still is nothing like installing a dp or sri.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Not sure what the opinions are out there about Magnaflow CBE systems, but hottexhaust.com has them with a 25% discount on their website and free shipping. The discount code is "vortex" and takes the price from $663.23 to $495.43. Looking around for other options as well since this is one of the first mods I'd also like to make. Any suggestions on a better overall quality/deal for a CBE on the gen 2 like mine? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Depends on what you want - magnaflow looks to be the cheapest by far, but I personally prefer the design of corksport's cat-back - A single in-line muffler at the front instead of a dual exit muffler at the back. Seems like that way would restrict exhaust less, but I have no data to back this up with. I like that the magnaflow exhaust is fairly quiet going around town, and gets aggressive only when you get on it. But, like I said, I like the way the corksport exhaust is designed. edit: You're not going to get a better deal than $450 for a catback unless you have an exhaust shop fabricate you an exhaust. Even then it depends on what (if any) muffler you want, along with other stuff I suppose. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I know some say exhaust does no improvement in performance. I disagree based on my experience- and with many cars. I changed the exhaust on my 2010 Miata to an axle back and gained HP- the muffler was 1/2 the size and weight of stock and eliminated a lot of restriction. The stock MS3 exhaust muffler is similar to the Miata- huge and with the dual outlets. Borla makes an axle back for the Gen 2 Speed 3. It looks like the muffler is a lot smaller. I feel the restriction if any is going to be in the muffler- just look at how large it is. I think you will gain in both sound and performance with an axle or CAT back. If I did not have to give my MS3 up to my son, I would go with an exhaust- probably axle back along with short intake. |

You can't compare upgrades on different vehicles. Most cars do well with cam upgrades, but ours are pretty good stock as well as the muffler. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
