(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Wont shift into reverse Hey guys, after parking a perfectly fine car and walking into a store, when i came out, the car would not go into reverse. When I press down on the shifter and put it into reverse, it won't engage and just pops right back up. Even when i try to hold it down, the car will not reverse. The other 6 gears work perfectly fine, but neutral feels kind of hung up as well. I checked all the shift linkages and they are not being blocked or hung up on anything. Its been at the dealership for 2 days and they cant figure anything out so far. All they have been able to come up with is "maybe its your shifter bushings". Do you guys have any recomendations that will help point the dealership guys in the right direction? I'm really tired of driving a courtesy mazda 2. Thanks,
