(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score After barely passing the smog test about 4 weeks ago I went back to @Ultimate Racing and asked them if they can make me a catted AND resonated test pipe. I didn't have too much hope to be honest thinking of the possible fitment issues and the possible R&D involved but they came back a few hours later and told me that yes, they will do it. I already have their V3 downpipe with a metal substrate cat so adding one more cat should not rob me of any significant power. The car makes well above 400, on a chill day it would do 450 which for a FWD is probably the limit of still having a bit of balance in the chassis. So here I am today after unboxing the unicorn they made me. I still need to heat wrap it just to make sure things go as I want (sound deadening is also kind of a goal here) and that will go in the car and replace the current resonated test pipe I bought back in 2011. Also dealing with their customer service is a pretty relaxing and rewarding experience. thumbs-up for that too! Thank you UR!

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Fitted perfectly like the previous resonated TP. Smog test is more than perfect, I feel it's a bit too much. Not sure for now about the power loss but since in my case the limiting factors are the intake and exhaust manifolds I don't expect any significant difference.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score So performance wise there is no significant difference, I had to increase the WGDCs a bit (2%) and ended up with more power than before. So on my case I can say there was no performance penalty from this second cat (the one I have in the catted DP is identical, same part# from magnaflow).
