| Not Ranked : 0 score If you have a 3.5" TIP get a 3.5"x3" silicone coupling. 3" intake, get a straight 3" silicone coupling...etc...

| Not Ranked : 0 score Well if I was running a aftermarket turbo, I wouldn't run a stock size TIP. Which I believe is the only silicone intake JBR sells. Otherwise his other TIPs are aluminium.

| Not Ranked : 0 score The wide paths are full silicone. one has a 2.5" inlet and one with 4" inlet. You would just need a 4" to 3" coupler?

| Not Ranked : 0 score A 4" to 3" coupler that's made out of silicone wouldn't work. The intake is now all silicone so you would need a aluminum reducer which would either be hard to find or if it could be found it would end up pushing the intake too far out with the extra couplers you would have to add to make it work. The idea I had is in this thread: GTX 2867 Installed and Reviewed bout half way down I even have pictars for them simple folk.

| Not Ranked : 0 score But what if you had a coupler that could fit inside of the inlet of the intake housing (snug fit) with a tclamp around that. Then at the turbo full 3 inch clamp fitting half on the turbo half on the coupler if you could but it up to the turbo?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Any type of reducer that is the same diameter as the turbos's inlet or close that could but strait up to it. Then use a clamp that would tighten around the turbos inlet and the coupler. Half on the turbo, half on the coupler.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Man... I went through this... i actually was thinking of even mutilating the silicon intake, but it doesn't go that way, I hope the market expands for the 2867's so Vendors see that there's a good area of opportunity. as Atvfreek said: dont mickey mouse shit. I was thinking of cutting the inlet -> 3" to 3" aluminum copler -> Silicon 3" straight extension -> turbo. but trust me... it's a bad idea, and really propense to leaks... better search for a used JBR alluminum wp and use a coupler. Personally i'll hold, i prefer silicone Subbed since im interested in James answer, i actually asked him in another thread.

| Not Ranked : 0 score We don't have anything in silicone. I do have 2, 3.5" aluminium non recirc intakes that I will let go at a great price. You can use a reducing coupler with these. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score ECU relocation, But its simple. You just have to take off the plastic harness loom that is hiding underneath your intake and that will give you plenty more length to relocate. I've attached a picture at what I, and what most other people have done. Also, instead of using the HD double sided tape to secure the ECU to the fuse box I went and used the 3M Superlock "velcro" instead so that I can move it if need be. Its basically a plastic hook and loop fastener with the some really strong adhesive on the backside. Or you can purchase the pretty 51R Battery tray from JBR (Wish this was out a few months ago when I had to replace my battery!)
