70 duro rem gone soft?

i have a jb rear egine mounts. its the 70duro. i got a 3" exhaust made up but it was catching under acceleration on the tunnel cross brace (if that makes sense). what i did was space the brace it off with washers which cured it just fine for about a 2 months then it starts to catch again under hard driving to which i spaced off even more. This cured it once again for around a month and once again the exhaust started to catch again under acceleration. I have space the tunel brace down again, it now has 11 washers in. the only thing i can put it down to is the rear engine mount is getting play in it allowing the engine movement to push the exhaust down.

is this possable. is my mount becoming to soft?

that shit doesn't make any sense. but you definitely shouldn't need 11 washers to space out something.

it sounds like the 3" exhaust is the problem.

that was my thoughts at first but surly once I had spaced it once it should stay spaced but the more i drive about it starts to catch again. Im going to try and use those poly exhaust bushes to see if i can stop abit a movement. but it only catches when the engine tilts under abit of heavy right foot.

i am going to take the car back to where i got the exhaust built as it has a liftime garuntee on it but it just seem strange how the catching keeps returning.
