Default Another Jbarone Mount Review Thread

I have had the CPE RMM (60 or 85 durometer) for a few years. Added TRZ Transmission Mount some 2 years or so ago. I wanted to try something different, and went with the JBR Chome-Molly (Rear Motor Mount 88a Durometer [MZ3MS3MollyRMM] - $90.00 : James Barone Racing, Custom Fabrication)

Install took 10 minutes, since my back is in the dumpster. Took longer to torque the bolts. Big plus of having the TMM, the engine did not move at all! After some driving, I honestly don't notice any more vibes. Mainly because of the TRZ Trans mount.

My only tip for installers is to opt for some Blue Loctite. not necessary, but Loctite is like gap insurance. You wont need it, necessarily, but if you didn't, and something happens, you will wish you did have it!

And of course, will recheck bolts in a couple weeks too.

Driving it, the care feels more "at one" with itself, and i think the stiffer rear mount helped.

Installing the SSP in a couple weeks, along with fresh MT-90, cannot wait.

Oh, and I sold the CPE RMM locally. Installed it as well on his, and it took a bit longer, as we had to muscle the motor back in place to get the bolts to the trans lined up.
