| Not Ranked : 0 score Installed my kit today. Everything went pretty decent. working with rotating the cold pipe from the throttle body and intercooler will get you the proper clearance from that bracket. Although i did find that the shifter weight hits the piping... |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Stock one? Take the weight off and cut off that excess blob of crap on it. Will make shifting easy. Or mess with the piping so it is not hitting. Or both. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I think you can take the weight off and bolt on top of the shifter arm or get a smaller weight. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I had issues with my stock weight hitting the intake. Removed the forward ones loosened the back, re-angled it and tightened bolt until I put in a trimmed down one. Much happier with the cut down weight. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just finished the install today on my GenPu with TR6 core also put the 3" aluminium intake. The install went well the hard part was trimming the plastic and fog light wire harness. A pro tip I found was to bend the ground strap shown in the install picture before installing the cold side pipe. Once the cold side pipe was in I found it hard trying to bend strap, not much room. Also the 3" intake sounds awesome. That install went well although very little room between the ECU and intake with the ECU cover off. I might just relocate it anyways. One of the t-clamps broke on me (I had to undo it and the nut sheered the bolt off). No biggie though I had an extra clamp lying around that I used instead. Thanks for the awesome products Jamie! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys, just wanted to throw up a quick brace/bracket I came up with for the hot pipe underneath the car. I felt a brace was needed to keep the piping from moving around on the lower side, even with a brace on the top side. I just quickly cut a piece of angle iron I had in the garage and put one side on one of the ac compressor bolts and the other to the hotpipe to lower silicon hot side connection at the hose clamp. It keeps the piping firmly in place with the motor and the lower silicon hotpipe to flex as needed with engine movement. Works nice, and zero movement of the hotpipe as it's bolted to the motor. You can just use some of the 10mm nuts you have left over from removing the top mount intercooler. Sorry for the crap cell pics but you get the idea.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys just curious, do you know if this fmic piping will have any interference with a JMF intake manifold? I just got one and I realized I have never seen a gen1 wih this piping and a JMF. I'm considering just switching to an under mounted hot pipe setup if needed. But I've seen photos of a my new bnrs4 having issues with the different directional clocking. Any advice?
