I dont mind spending a little more for less coupler points when ive already invested in a big turbo, especially when daily reliability is vital, like it is for both of us.
There is only a couple more inches of silicone in our hot side kits when compared to other FMIC piping kits on the market. The reduced number of connections makes it appear like there's much more but, there's not.

Our silicone is designed to be application specific. The silicone for our FMIC kits has been specifically constructed to minimize swelling. The pieces included in our kits swell no more than couplers and elbows supplied with other FMIC kits. The overall reduced number of connections increases reliability which was one of our design goals with these kits.

It's too early to know for sure as testing is still ongoing. If I was to take a stab based on the information we've collected thus far, the 2867 will see spool increase around 175-250 RPM earlier.

I appreciate your input mate. Might I ask why it is you opted for long couplers instead of slighly longer piping? To be different, any logged improvement over the alternative? I do like the pipe support, its definately a nice peace of mind addition. Would you consider making this kit with a blow through cold pipe option?

Anywho, if you wanna help me out with the wire tuck ill be your best friend, if im not already lmfao. Ive yet to find a single even slightly half decent thread on how to go about it. If all else fails ill do like I did in the evo and just buy new harness connectors and run all new wires from the ecu. Color matched to the oem stuff or course =p. Did that in my 95 gs-x too, relocated th fuse box to the glove box.
a wire tuck is time consuming, and requires a lot of saudering and what not. Not something I would touch, one wrong cut and you are fucked. I do believe there is a how to thread on here though, a couple of guys hae done it.

You don't. We'll have complete under mount kits that include our cold side and our cold side hose will soon be sold separately as well.

We're in the process of making up the kits now and hopefully, if everything goes smoothly, we'll have them by the end of the month.

If you aren't joking about this ... I am going to have to cancel my current Cobb FMIC order. I am not much for being an early adopter of anything due to bugs having to be worked out ... but I am willing to gamble if you truly will be releasing within the next couple months.

I assure you I am not joking. The plan is to have these kits shipping by the end of this month.

Out of curiosity, what turbo do you plan to run with our kit?

I just installed a BNR S3 on a Genwon MS3. It's currently garaged waiting for an upgraded IC.

I am tempted to just steal my wife's ETS TMIC so I can hold out for your Big Tits of an IC.

Hey @jbarone; ... out of curiosity, when you do release this product, will you allow companies like @RPM; to sell it immediately upon release ... or must it be exclusively purchased from your website for a certain duration beforehand for whatever reason?

Typically it takes a few weeks before the products are available from our retailers.

Will this mate up with a full race efr7163 kit? I hear that turbo can be tricky to deal with. Also looking for a supporting intake. Thanks

Are you guys still on target for an end-of-March release, @jbarone; ... or is it looking more feasible for an April release?

Please don't think I am trying to rush you. I just want you to hurry the fuck up.

In all seriousness ... I welcome ample QA prior to release.

Everything is coming along well but, we are going to be a bit longer. All our manufacturers are backed up and the last thing we want to do is ask them to rush. This is the busiest time of year for automotive manufacturing. We'll be sure to keep you all posted.

Anyone knows if this kit fits with the Corksport aluminum under tray installed? I have a 2867 and TR8 core on threadstone crash bar.

This isn't a intercooler, it's just the piping for the intercooler to be under routed..

sent from my HTC One M9

Finally got the kit installed. Clocked the GTX turbo while still installed in the car. The biggest pain was reattaching the actuator bracket. Always that one bolt that kicks your ass.

Really love the clean look in the engine bay.

Will do some logs later on to compare bats...

So far loving the kit. Running 26 psi through it with no issues.

Notes from the install I forgot to mention.

1. For some reason my timing cover does not have the stud mentioned in the instructions to attach the clamp to hold the metal pipe by the passenger side of the oil pan. Could not install the clamp.

2. The kit fits perfect with the CorkSport under tray plate installed.

3. Did not had to cut or trim the coupler that attaches to the turbo outlet to fit with a GTX2867 as is needed with K04 or BNR turbos.
