Default JBR Short Throw Plate Problems

I installed a JBR short throw plate, weight, and bushings a couple months ago. (Christmas gifts from the Fiance). At first install it was very tight, nice short throws.
However I noticed lately that it has loosened up again, not as long as stock but almost there.

I played around with the plate over the weekend, but it does not appear to have shifted or bent the plate/bolt and I could not get it to tighten back up.

I am wondering if I stretched a cable or if anyone else has ideas as to what could cause this to happen? I am pretty sure I could not stretch a steel cable...
Any ideas?

I noticed this when i installed my SURE stuff.
felt really tight then loosened up over a week or so...

When I mean loosened up, I mean the cage doesn't feel as tight anymore. It is still as short as before.

Maybe your just used to it and now it doesn't feel short.

Try removing and drive with it stock. I'm sure you will re-appreciate the plate! Or you can get another short throw for in the cockpit, like from CS.

Now that is a short shift!

This also happened on my TWM in my TC. Retighten and you should be fine.

Get the twm full replacement and I guarantee you'll feel like your shifting a miata. Mine is so short and nice. You do need to relighten and adjust things every so often though.

You're probably just used to it now. The only thing I'd check is to make sure the riser/stud bolt is nice and tight and not loose on the plate. Otherwise, it's probably just you getting used to it.

Retightening helps. Red loctite is needed for sure.
