I asked the same thing in the sale thread, they went with the APR stud on the new one because of the issues with cross threading on the previous one.

Yup.

Anyone who has installed the earlier version can easily understand why the change was made.

Lining that bolt up on the original version was a bear of a job!

I don't have one on my car, but I helped @JTMS3; put his on a while back. We got the job done, but there was a lot of cussing going on that day... Lol.

Just installed the V2 literally 2hrs ago with speed6 killah went with the 80 bushing .
Very nice piece. When we took my trz tmm off holy shit bushing on it was totally destroyed & vibes were crazy now I know why. Jbr mount is the shit , car is smooth as butter thanks JB .
First thing Pablo noted on V2 was that it has an ARP stud quality stuff.
Took us a bit of messing around to line plate up but we finally got it .
Car really feels planted now, thanks JB

Same here. I came from a Medieval mount, and the bushing was severely deformed. After a brief stint with the stock mount, I got the JBR v2 mount installed. Other than some vibes and a little tranny noise, the car is actually a lot smoother than I would have thought.

Great idea on the new design. First install was smooth for most part. Second time it was a pita to get the bolt to re thread.

nothing has changed about the design... why you all call it V2 is blowing my mind... only thing he did was changed from a bolt to a stud and nut... nothing changed on the mount itself...

Fine. How about a 1.2? Anyway, the install took about an hour, so it's an improvement for sure.

Yeah the stud eliminates that as being a problem and it's super strong too.

I'm actually scared to remove my tmm because it was such a pita last time. Worried I won't be able to get the bolt back in. @jbarone; will you be offering any kind of trade in program for those having issues with the old design? Jw, only a matter of time before someone else asks.

Id say that's more than fair at least offering the perch separate. Good stuff. Thanks.

Y U NO HAZ FINESSE?

Just takes a soft touch with a jack and some blocks to line it up before. I think you have to have a good pair of eyes knowing how to give directions as well. By yourself might be a different story. This stud must make it a breeze seeing as it took me about an hour without at the AZ install day a few months back.
