We currently have two options for the front mount. SURE (HELL NO) and TT. TT design is solid but customer service seems lacking and they don't stock the part regularly. CS and CP-E make the rear mounts already, so that area isn't lacking too much. Unfortunately I still feel burned by CP-E from their standback days.

JBR FTW. Now if only he had some products for us!!!

CP-E's quality is pretty good. Just about everything I've seen actually. They offer the lower durometer which is nice since I pile the kids in my car I do a lot to avoid NVH. I'm pretty sensitive to it. That being said, I have yet to see anything from JBR that isn't top notch in quality. I have CP-E's RMM and Rear Diff mount because the quality and price was great. IMHO, CS's is not as tested(time wise) and was more expensive.

I would love for JBR to build a Front Mount for the Rear Diff. I won't buy SURE, I'd rather go without it. You atleast expect a factory mount to fail. I would however buy Turbine Tech's but it's not stocked, and I'd prefer to support a forum vendor.

My kids love extra nvh... they have calluses on their butts from every mazda of mine they've ridden in... just make a 100 durometer version :-)

Seriously, I'm literally about to drop the 500+ for the pair of sure mounts and was searching the vendor threads for an alternative for the pair. If you tell me that there is something in the works I'll be the first person to buy! There may even be a reach-around involved. LOL

I have the Corksport and Turbine Tech mounts. Absolutely love them. Zero complaints, my diff may as well be concreted to my subframe. It would be nice to see some more options though.

And for those concerned about NVH, a stiffer diff mount changes zero. The diff isn't sending vibrations into the cabin like an engine does so don't fret about gaining vibes.

Did you install the mounts yourself or take it somewhere to have it done?

Did it myself on jack stands. Don't pay a shop to do it if you have the ability to do it yourself. If you have access to a lift it will make your life so much better. If using jack stands don't make the same mistake I did by using normal 2 ton stands. Get some stands that can put the car like 1.5+ft in the air. Two of the bolt heads on my rear mount were almost rounded so I had to end up disconnecting everything at the hubs and dropping the whole diff leaving it connected just by the axles and swing arms, but that was just bad luck on my part.

Tips:

PB blast everything.
Use ratching wrenches, getting the bolts that go through the rear mount bushing is a slow process.
Made sure you have a large pry bar and 1/4 or less of gas. When putting the bolt that goes through the bushing on the front mount you have to lower the gas take and pry it aside.

The big Orange truck Jack stands from harbor freight are hard to beat. I think they are 3 to 5 ton. I can't remember. I have had cars up on all for corners for months at a time with these stands. They go on sale and then you can get a 20% off coupon online for harbor freight. You get them for the price of smaller stands that way. These stands let you put the car a couple feet in the air so you have room for you, a creeper, tools, and a Jack to support the diff.
