Default Motor Mount Trilogy

Thanks so much to Jamie for his help and information. I just bought and installed a full set of James Barone's Motor Mounts. I got the 80 PMM and TMM and the 88 Chrome Molly RMM.
With a print out of the installation instructions provided under the support link on their web page, the install went without a hitch.
My '08 MazdaSpeed 3 never shifted this well when it was new.
I cannot sing James Barone's praises enough, truly a class act. Thanks again, and I look forward to doing more business in the future.

-Allen

It was my pleasure to work with you Allen. I'm glad we had the chance to discuss the right combination of mounts to suite you.

Not unbearable.
Certainly glad that Jamie warned me there would be an "Oh Sh!t" moment when I first started the car. However, it's interesting to be able to feel the engine through the seat. I thought that my wife would never ride in the Speed again after I installed the mounts, but she didn't find it too teeth chattering or uncomfortable. In fact, she drove it and liked that it shifts into second easier now and has quicker response in the 1st and 2nd.

Oh sure. They only have 100miles on them right now. This was just to say that even now, the vibes are not terrible.
I expected to need a dentist appointment to put my fillings back in! No complaints here!

Drove my 88 rmm, 88tmm, and 80 pmm for more than 1K miles. Car feels awesome now and vibration doesn't really bother me except when the car is at a stop. It only happens once in a while but the motor shakes a lot and scares my passengers lol

A couple thousand more miles and the mounts will come down even more.

For real, a fully mounted 88a car isn't that bad once they break in. Before they break in, I can understand some bitching or comments. After, eh, not really...

Tell them their cars are just fucking pussies and don't have enough torque to actually break shit.

agreed, its made to sound much worse than it actually is. i can see installing all 3 at once would be a bit much initially, but after a few hundred miles i was really surprised how well they settled.

it's a combination of getting accustomed to the vibes, but at the same time the mounts do settle down.

The first day driving to work after installing the mounts, the rear view mirror shook so badly that everything in it was a blur.

Now, after about 350 miles it has settled down and the rear view is useful again.

Again, I have zero complaints about these mounts.

Got the 80d mounts and they are friggin awesome. I've had them in for about 1k miles and 1 track day. They help tremendously with shifting, wheel hop, and torque steer. Also, I'm really starting to like the vibes and noise. My passengers... not so much. "I think something is wrong with your car..." "Your car sounds like a tractor..."

When I hopped back in my stock Mazda 3, the first time I went to shift I thought the engine had stalled.
