(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Install was a complete breeze, and boy was there a difference! Make sure you check your mount every so often after installing..so you don't destroy your car..I checked after 2 miles of driving, at 20 miles and Now I'm about 200 miles into it with no issues or complaints whatsoever. The ride, at first, will be hella' loud. You will feel every vibration through this mount and wonder to yourself what the hell were you thinking when you bought it?! After about 50 miles I noticed a signifcant drop in vibration and the bushings really started to feel like they should: a solid RMM. Shifting has improved, accelerating through turns has improved. I would never look back, you'll see your stock RMM and its design flaws once you remove it. My stock bushings were still in good shape, but none the less WAY too soft for a car as such. My JBR RSB will be here soon and they will go hand in hand. THIS SHOULD BE YOUR FIRST MOD, of course after donating ![]()

| Not Ranked : 0 score I've been reading review after review of this and the billet 70 and 80 durometer RMMs Jamie offers, trying to decide which one I wanted. I finally decided, even though this car may never see the track while I own it and that I have a good 2 to 2 and a half hour daily commute with a ridiculous amount of stoplights, that I can probably live with the vibrations of the 88 duro dog bone mount if it means kick ass acceleration and shifting. Just ordered one. I figure if I give it a month and I can't take it, I'll turn in my man card, sell the molly and go for the 80 duro billet...

| Not Ranked : 0 score i used to have trz, it was just too fucking much buzzing and droning in the cockpit. i have the jbr 80 billet now and it is much quieter. the feel isn't as tight, but still approx. 3x10^8 times better than stock. i figure a jbr tmm should tighten things up without all that god damned noise. maybe these jbr dogbone mounts aren't as bad.. what do you boys thunk?

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'll let you know after I've installed mine and given it some break-in time. I'll hopefully install it this weekend if I get the part in the next couple days. In typical stupid-good JBR customer service fashion, I got the shipping confirmation an hour after I ordered it at 11:20pm last night.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah, I'm a little worried the vibes might be too much for daily street use. Time will tell if I can deal with it or eventually puss out. Some people say they're too harsh, others say they're fine. Only way to know for sure is to see for myself, and figured it'd be worth saving 30 bucks to give it a shot.

| Not Ranked : 0 score That's what I'm hoping, thanks Jamie. It was yours and some other people's posts about it that convinced me to go ahead and get the more rigid one. Heh...rigid.

I don't care where you are, the road cannot possibly be worse! My car has already, taken some serious abuse. Your Dog Bone will make you car feel completely different when you first drive it. But you will soon be accustomed to it, 88 DM might not be for everyone, but its all logical to me. Favorite Mod. Hands down.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Coming from someone that has tried both the SURE rmm and the JBR Chrome Molly, I think the Chrome Molly wins hands down. The vibrations were CRAZY at first, but it calmed down pretty significantly after about 300 miles or so. And then after about 1500 miles, there was barely any vibration at all. My favorite thing about the mount that I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, is that the steering felt a lot tighter for some reason. It really connected the driver with the road better, and I didn't notice this at all with the SURE mount. All in all, the JBR is a great product and worth every single penny

It wasn't the steering, at the wheel that I noticed; it was mid turn, when I would accelerate out of a long turn, the way my car felt like it was "more thoroughly connected" to itself. Feels like when I shift, my engine is actually staying with me and not dragging my car haha Super grateful that Jamie is able to provide such a great product. TBH I was sold on the CP-e 75DM when I first started looking into working on my MS3..after a while and some digging I was finding that even the 75DM was wearing and tearing quickly. Enough said, I've done a lot of driving recently, nearly 500 miles on it and it's calming down even more, and although the vibes are down the same 'grip' to my engine is still completely present and a complete improvement over stock. f

| Not Ranked : 0 score I already love this thing and only 200 miles on it. My car was so bad shifting to second my wife thought something was wrong with it or me! All that is gone now clutch uptake and driveline lash are smooth as butter. The vibs help me know what the engine is doing anyway.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Got my Dog Bone mount in 3 business days along with a confirmation after 2 hrs (what the hell Jamie... you gave Vater it in 1hr) Anyways... I am coming from a SU RMM that was a POS and actually switched back to my stock mount. Their two peice design is shit and makes creaking noises when starting from a stop (I think they're a one peice now). I was nervous of buying the dog bone since I too read all of the reviews of dog bone mounts shaking the teeth out of you. Bought the mount since I read Vaters review and I am so glad I went that route... 20 mins of install time... and pure sex... I actually love the vibes ( I have a vagina ) and dont mind them at all. Shifting actually improved and after doing a couple launches I am very pleased... Jamie your products never let me down... I think Im missing your rsb from my mod list Take all my monies

GET YOUR RSB! It too is a great product, you aren't going to feel it like your RMM, but the first turn you take and any movement at high speeds you're going to be right back here praising Jaime again! I'm using it on the stiffest setting, started on medium, but I like em' stiff

It's a pretty quick install, only thing that is a bit of a pita is lining up the endlinks again, that's about it. Make sure you get a nice even gap between where the bushings/mounts are and the end of the RSB..that's also something you'll want to check as you begin to drive on it. Oh yeah, and use the lube!
