Shipping to Canada

@jbarone; Hey I'm interested in purchasing some products from your site but was unable to find out what company you use to ship to Canada? Also, is it possible to decrease some of the shipping costs if multiple items are ordered at once and can be shipped together.

I have ordered a few times from JBR to BC. Items were shipped USPS. A couple times I had multiple items and did save on the posted shipping costs.

For example when I ordered boost tubes and bypass hose, I selected shipping to Canada for the larger item (boost tubes) and then put US shipping for the smaller item (free). I assumed it would be OK or they would let me know - and it was fine.

I have found JBR to be one of best vendors with regards to shipping costs to Canada.

Thanks. Yeah I am hoping it's with USPS. I won't order from the states if a company only offers UPS shipping.

^yeah UPS rapes you with added duties & fees

Look up Bay City Brokers...I use them whenever stuff comes up UPS. Helps cut the fees down. I'm pretty good at estimating actual cost in hands after doing it so many times. Here's the things to calculate:

Part Price
Shipping Cost
Exchange (around 1.08 right now)
Foreign Currency Conversion Fee (usually 2.5% on credit cards that don't have free conversion fees)
Duty (6% on car parts)
Tax (13% for Ontario)
Brokerage (Bay City is flat rate depending on invoice amount instead of a percentage, $45 max under $5000 in parts)

For those who don't know the 6% duty on car parts does not apply to any parts made in the USA. You can get a NAFTA exemption form so when it's cleared over the border you aren't charged duty on the parts (just tax + brokerage fee).
