Lenny,

I would recommend putting in the ITV24's and see if the KR goes away with the 1° extra timing in.

If not then put the "7" nozzle in and then see if you can run the timing without KR.

yeah, i got time this weekend , i gotta dig up the spark plugs somewhere, i got em all 22s 24s and stockers.

and the 7 nozzle gets to me Thursday so ill be putting it on next week. keep in mind my car could never run the OTS stage 2 fmic maps without meth.... it always knocked, maybe in 50k miles when i pull the motor apart u guys can see why lol

thanks !!! also track day saturday next week , i want to be able to run the car flat out to see if I can trap 112mph at least. (best of 107.5 b4)

well, we reverted back to the original timing we were running and i turned the mbc all the way to full (light spring) looks like it tops out at 21.75psi or so....

KR still persists oddly enough after 5700 RPM ...that shits getting muted!!! we also upped the boost induced fuel cut just so i dont hit cut when I shift hard and spike to 22.5psi....its only happened once before but still... a lil headroom is nice.

oh and for the gm/s nutswingers.... i hit 312 gm/s yay!!! hahahah voltage did reach a high of 4.76V so I need to get this puppy to hit 22psi flat across (mbc has boost mood swings depending on ambient conditions)

once I quiet that KR to 5700 i'll be good until i swap the do7 nozzle in

upon further inspection i noticed the logs i posted yesterday i had about the same amount of KR and more timing ....and all of it comes around 5700 and up.... so im just gonna turn that shit off.

also..... why would my throttle position be 78 now instead of 77.xx as before??? curious


compare the KR and the timing on the logs I just made vs these from yesterday ...

check out at 6k i seem to have 1-1.4 KR on both sets, boost is about 21 give or take .5lbs , temps are the same...fuel is the same.... but timing on the ones from yesterday are 2 degrees more advanced vs the ones from just now 2 degrees less.... yet the KR is about the same value.... I think from my perspective I have no choice but to shut that shit off at 5700.

hum...your motor may just make too much noise at those RPMs. Mine doesn't seem to have that issue with the sensor enabled.

you could experiment with the multiplier and offset to make the sensor less...well sensitive but I don't know of anyone actually doing that and what values to change.

The cool thing is that the settings are per RPM so you only have to make the changes in the RPMs that you are having trouble in....IDK maybe that's something for Christian to tackle when he gets back on-line.

I would leave it on and add another 1° and see if you still have ~1° of KR or if it starts to be more like ~2°.

If you can add more timing and it still sees only similar small amounts of KR then it is potentially mechanical/noise in origin.

Just be careful with this methodology. While short bursts ~2° of real KR shouldn't hurt, it isn't without some risk.

I would be very hesitant to just turn the sensor off above 5700 unless you are confident that it is not real.

well but that was the point of looking at the logs from the previous page vs the ones from this one.... all the PIDS are basically the same, its the same tune, except for one thing.... timing, its 1.5 to 2 degrees more advanced in the previous page s logs and the same amount of KR shows. in fact the only map changes between the 2 logs is timing and about 3/4 of a turn on mbc but because of i guess humidity factor or w/e the boost is about .5 off only.

i get what you are saying though, ill continue with caution. i am confident the do7 will eradicate all my KR, it always does when its below 2.0 and i move up in nozzle size.

I would pull a healthy 4 degree of timing up top. Run the log and see if you get the KR. If you do, then you know it's just noise.

alright, here are tonights logs, some KR ... not too bad, fuck 5700 rpm KR... ut of mind out of sight. next week do7 nozzle goes in and it will all go away anyways.

car is pretty consistent except for boost, MBC runs what it runs....some logs im closer to 22psi (#1) and some I am closer to 21psi.... but i like the mbc, fast acting no fuzz no muss.

by the way , when I got off the fwy to get back on the return trip from logging I ran into a new M3 coupe, we did a roll from about 45mph and we were dead even until 120mph... and i mean DEAD EVEN!! until he almost ran into the back of an SUV coming out of a tune lol

how about the fact m3 is rwd, is balanced much better, and has much better gears - ditto for the mustang
it would take a hell of a driver to stand up to one of those cars in a ms3 down the 1/4

Oh I'm sure he's making more than 350, but even though weight/power isn't everything...if you weigh 600 lbs less than a car and have the same power...it would be very very sad to lose from a roll.

on the subject of roll racing badass BMWs...what are those newer cars with the big buldge in the hood...flared fenders...come in 2 door and sedan...[are those an M3 or M5 or something] well I have pulled the same guy [sedan] numerous times in my car from like 60-120ish.... pulled about car length on him and we started dead even...I think he may have been starting to catch up toward the end but we did this about 5 different times over the course of a month or so...and as soon as we went I jumped a length on him real quick and held it almost the whole time

he pulled up to me afterward and shrugged his sholders and smiled...his smile wasn't as big as mine LOL

Lenny, have you increased the throttle pos in the DBW tables? I noticed your TPS reads 77 and most OEM DBW setups read ~74...That right there should increase g/s..no?

I think I'll open mine up from 80 to like 90...does anyone know if that overdrives the TB sol?
