i actually banned sixx for 6 months..... dont recall.... but he s been a model citizen... except for his roll races vs new m3s that cant rev past 6500rpm

ACT street kit installed and it's 2x harder to push pedal than OEM. It's not bad at all and I like the feel, but its def harder.

Lenny, be glad u didn't get a 6 puck.

ok ...time to revive this thread....

clutch went in last week.
drag race on lil turbo this coming sat
and BT install to be done dec 12th ......

so.... we are t minus 13 days......

BT + clutch = party time !!!!!!

after that is done it will be time for slicks.... and then its party time.

I've never done the 1320 before but there's no time like the present to start. I'd like to try autox but you can't really compare the numbers like you can for the 1/4 mile.

LOL...I did get a lil excited....just finished a Red Bull at the time....i feelz calmer now...

come to think of it...I don't really know what I am all excited about...can't use CDFP scaling and the KR stuff will be a long road to figure out...oh wait...there is Boost based tuning now! yes that's it.

The boost based tuning is what Id like. Im having issues getting my car to hit commanded timing! Tim is working with Trey to finger it out. HOpefully soon I wanna put it back on the dyno.

you bleed the clutch by pushing brake fluid though the slave, out the master.
if i remember right, i could be wrong..

i dont give a crap, the clutch should be @ the top of the pedal. get that shit bled, then you will be able to frive...

did you vacuum bleed it ? that might work

dude get an act clutch and u will know what im talking about.

im not the only ms3 i have driven with this clutch....its just quite a few years of driving a certain way and now i have to adjust

that shouldn't have anything to do with the height of the clutch, trust me , i was a transmission mechanic for many years,

and i put many aftermarket clutches in, and if i got done with a rig and the clutch was low but worked, my boss would bitch @ me and id go try for another hr, till id get a pedal some times it is not easy..

did you measure your deck heights to make sure the pedal wont be low, that might be a possibility but then atc is a bunch of a holes..

i can't drive a rig with the clutch on the floor, tranny wont last long with me ...
just sayin

plus it is like saying i put in aftermarket brake pads in, and the peal is low... doesn't happen the oil takes up the slack mofo! need to bleed teh brakes .....

maybe im not explaining it correctly.... i can shift all day long half input of pedal...but when u powershift i need the clutch to be fully engaged and that requires me to floor it so i have a larger window of opportunity to slam the gear in as the revs go up.....

im slow as fuck in reflexes... so what i lack in speed i need to make up in anticipation and timing....

im not worried...plus the person that installed my clutch is a master tech himself and he drove the car right after the install.... i guess i am just not used to it..idk

less than a week from vta block... all ready ..we are gonna do 2 turbo swaps in one day..plus an axle seal replacement on my car as well.

philly couldnt make the trip yet so when (thats right WHEN NOT IF ASSHOLE!!!!!!) he comes back to visit he can ride in the car rather than just work on it....

come to think of it...philly im o save the bumper clips replacement for u bitch

it would be a lot easier, if you pulled the pas side Axel, to do the turbo swap. i almost pulled mine several times, just for the room! you won't vta, your prime for big turbo, hell i pushed 26 psi for a couple of weeks and it liked it

While this may play a role, i doubt it's the complete solution. The timing issues arise with higher loads only, not based on BATs or ECTs. For instance, he could have the same BATs and ECTs on 2 different tunes, one with load below 2.0 and one with load above 2.0, and he'll meet his timing targets below 2.0 but not above it.

I'm seeing something similar in another log from a ms6. Just looks weird, but maybe i'm missing something. It's so much easier when you have a running car to play with...

When the load cap was removed we all assumed that since we didn't increase the load axis in all the tables the ECU would just use the last load point value and apply that to any higher loads. Perhaps this is not a true statement and what Anthony is seeing?

I haven't seen any of his logs just throwing this out there.

I have only moved my timing up to a commanded 11* so I don't see any issues yet. My target will be 14-16* at some point.

funny thing is my timing was commanding like 8* to start but the ECU was actually giving me 11* in the upper RPMs. my lower RPM timing Actual has gone up with my changes but i have just now inched up to what Actual was at say 6K. Next step is to push it higher

ok........got all my shit ready for tomorrow. All my tools needed, hardware , liquids , glues, dynamite etc etc is ready. I am actually not doing this at my house..... we are meeting up at a buddy's and here is what is on the schedule.

Hnda etr swapping stock Ko4 for a pg reworked
I ll be swapping my ko4 v2 for the 3071r
and also we will be replacing the drivers side axle seal on my car cuz its leaking


battle will start at 10am and here is my ammunition.....




I will take as many pictures as I can.... I still have all the ones from the ko4-ko4v2 swap but that thread was lost.

and yeah I'll be doing most of my work (unless I can pay JCMS07 off lol) so I am gonna be beat to shit tomorrow .... but I'll post wtf happened....
