No codes, it may be the base tune. I'm just running leaner at wot than I should be. I don't want to tune around a leak if it exists.

Car sounds like sex with the new map! Not sure what it did but the dump sounds different now that it's off spring pressure. Gonna try to get a comparison audio. Also fixed the lean condition I had afrs never got above 11's.

Update on what I thought was a leaky GFB TMS.
@kevdog; @Zdraveca; @Justin@Freektune; @RPM;

Unless I read go fast bit's own study incorrectly, their BPV/BOV are design to leak a certain amount of pressure.

From the results above, it can be seen that the expected leak from a GFB TMS valve
represents such a tiny percentage of an engine’s total airflow that it would be impossible to for any engine performance measuring equipment (such as a dyno,
boost or air/fuel ratio gauge) to detect the slightest change in boost level, torque or air/fuel ratio.
When boost leaks are suspected and tested for on a car, this is usually because a loss
of boost pressure or performance has been noted. Smoke testing or pressure testing
the intake tract will often discover a leak from the BOV, but the size of the leak is not taken into consideration by such testing.
Link to the whole study: http://www.gfb.com.au/images/tech-ar...ter%20leak.pdf

So I'll be putting the GFBTMS back on. Though I still think it was a pretty significant leak. I've only been hitting 19psi on the stocker (not sure what I'm targeting), so I'll see if I start hitting more with the GFB.

That was a pretty significant / fast leak though. I'll run another test on my car soon so see how much mine lets pass, if any.

For those that don't feel like watching the video. The boost like test we did left the recirc tube connected to the bpv. Their bpv isn't designed to feel pressure from the recirc side because these aren't normal driving conditions. While we definitely had a leak at the base of the bpv, the "leak" we saw from the trumpet, shouldn't be seen under normal driving/boost conditions.

Stocker definitely couldn't hold the boost. I never got it over 19psi. As soon as I swapped the gfb back on I was hitting 21-22psi.

Holy mass airflow g/s. Is this normal on these BT's? I figured I woudn't be flowing this much air with my setup. Feel like something might be off.

BAT's seem way more manageable than when I was on the k04 at 20psi. I was running 50*+ over ambient before and these logs were around 25* over ambient. Soaked steadily after 4 back to back runs, but much lower than before.

Yep looks normal! I'm hitting 420-430g/s on HTA3586 @ 22psi. Looks to fall in line with mine just fine.

Just did some logs on my 2nd 93 revision. AFR's dropping into the 12's again. Justin is targeting 22psi now, and as I was looking over the logs, the AFR's only hit 12's when the car was making 22psi. As soon as it drops to 21psi it goes richer. This was consistent across all 4 logs.

From my tuning experience around here, check your couplers after and pre turbo, check your BPV o-ring...

By the way, really punky build, love it

Also, don't treat me wrong, but from your logs I see your VVT could be handled better (from my point of view) and much help airflow...
I usually start to decrease VVT advance earlier than with stock K04 or similar... Thats just a matter of air already coming through a motor...
At 280-300gs it should be almost zero advance. Leaving stock VVT for GT30 causes intake cams to really be the limit for the air as it advances it too much for that amount of air.
I logged much this and that and my run-by-run comparison really showed air and vDyno increase through the run in a whole range of RPM, and the 60-120 acceleration time also improved dramatically.
So please take care of your VVT and move it to zero faster than on stock, it should really help!

Did ya get all that @Justin@Freektune; ?

In other news, nice smooth lines!

But the bad news is that in two of the logs I was seeing up to 1.75* of KR. The first 2 runs were clean, the 2nd pair have KR in the upper rpms.

I'm only showing 2 runs in the vdyno so it looks cleaner, but the other 2 logs were almost exactly the same, so they were consistent.

Zdraveca, ЦСКА всегда будет первым!

To the topic, I really believe your tuner Justin has much more experience than me, just because of the number of cars tuned with different mods, etc. But I spent about 2 days on dialing VVT on my car, and got the same results for my local buddy with GT3076, I should find those logs and post here later today or tomorrow. There was a plot, air/rpm, for several VVT "strategies", and I ended up with VVT being smth like that:

I thought I vented my block.

I was in the middle of my 2nd 4th gear log when the car shuddered and I saw a puff of dust in my rearview mirror. I never saw KR go up, and my check engine light never came on. Then I glanced at the max PSI and it hit like 30.22psi.

The second thing I thought was wastegate.

On my way home I did a careful 2nd gear pull on a back road and watched boost shoot up to 30 again. That's the picture I sent you. Vac hose blew right off. I didn't clamp it originally, like an idiot, because I wasn't able to pull it off when I put it on initially. But seems like the heat has weakened the hose so that it lost it's elasticity. I'll probably replace the hoses with something more heat resistant.

I'll load up my 1 good log in a second, but I'm not turning these in to @Justin@Freektune; until I relog back to back runs on the same road.

Sorry, I know I'm postwhoring here, but it's been a long night and I'm just floored that my car didn't blow up. The Speed gods must be looking kindly upon me this day.

Things I learned from this log.

1.) Clamp your hoses
2.) These cars can hit at least 126%IDC
3.) My intake apparently can flow 485 g/s when it's 70* out
4.) The car had KR coming out of it all of its orifices
4.) Clamp your hoses

looks like 30psi was knocking a little. Also seems to have pegged your map sensor.

I was just curious why you had not experienced load cut when air started to move as hell. I mean, what are the load cuts in your tune?

I have no idea. I'm not tuning the car and really don't know anything about tuning.

My EWG got pegged shut when the bottom port blew off, the car did begin to knock immediately and dumped a ton of fuel into the motor as soon as it went above 22psi. I felt this happen and let off immediately, but it all occurred literally in less than 1 second.
