Its close but it all works and doesnt take any "custom" work to make it happen.

So i got timing figured out. Mannnnn the car loves it. e85 is the effing ticket serious. Car was hitting 400-420gs tonite. Even with my 12% change for the e85 that equates to a grip more power. I was averaging 290-300gs before at 21psi on pump. So figure a 12% gain for e85 scaling and that puts me at about 350gs. So Ive gained roughly 50gs with e85 tune. Yessssss!

OMG!!! i love this thread. Driver.. are you gonna take any vids of races/drag/dyno? How are the fuel lines/seals holding up... no signs of leakage or detertioration? this shit is the way to go indeed.

He bitched out cause he heard how good my car is running. I raced my buddies c6 with bolt ons the other night and edged him out from 40-130. He then raced the e55 and beat him by 1-2 cars. So you could guess I would have beat him decently if we raced now. So me and the vette are gonna go at it again and see the difference. I was on the start of my e85 tuning when we first raced. So lets hope the changes Ive made helped as much as I think they have. Im seeing about 30-40gs more since we last raced. So it should be game on.

Can you explain what you did to fix it? Also how much timing advance are you running at redline? I am just curious how you tuned it. I had the understanding that people running healthy doses of E85 likely wouldn't knock before MBT Causing an issue with trying to do a street tune.

Just upped my max values to match my max values in my tables. I run 13-14 degrees from like 5000-6500k and 15 degrees at 7k. Every time ive hit the dyno this combo seem to work best. Mbt seems to be right at 15 degrees. Doesnt make anything past that. So its my cap. NO knock at all in the winter on 25% e85 and no knock in summer on 50% e85. ill stick two these two maps for now. CAr loves them. NO ill effects up to this point. I think there is enough pump gas in there to counter any at all effects of running ethanol. Probably race that vette tonite if all goes well. Time for some smack down. I want to cars on him atleast.

At what load/RPM? Your statement doesn't mean much without these qualifiers.

Another interesting data point would be that the difference between 11° and 12° at 6000 RPMs and 2.3 load would appear to be about 15 HP...

So evidently at 2.3 load and 6000 RPM, MBT is somewhere at or above 12° BTDC based upon 12° making ~15HP more than 11°.

I should say bassed on the curve it looked like 13.5 was the sweet spot timing as I got a nice dip on the curve withouit any fluctuation in afr. I'm still learning

Also, have you considered a gearing change (either gears themselves or changing out the diff) ?

My tank is a nominal 14.5 gallons (MS3); however, my typical fill up is 12.5-13 gallons.

I have nothing bad to say about running 6.25 gallons of E85 per fillup (~E40). I am running stupid aggressive timing and 23 PSI with no KR.

Wow, so half? I'm gonna start e tuning with Heavy D and start with 3 gallons. Hopefully that'll be enough to let the magic to happen.

I to have been filling up with 6.25 e85 and when running aggresive timing the car is a beast.....

great read and deff in to see some ko4 logs on people running e85. I am beginning my e85 adventure and have already seen ~10 g/s increase with about 2* of timing. I'm currently hitting 265 g/s with stock fuel pump and 19psi...

IM still running e85. been running 50% e85 for months now but IM gonna scale back. Imcompletely maxed out on injector duty cycle. Im gonna go back to 25% and then take some logs. Im on my 4th turbo setup also. LOL I just can never make my mind up. Now rocking gtx3071.
