In my eyes, GodSpeed is a step above eBay. That turbo retails for $500 on their site. On the other hand, I can find t3/t4 57 trim turbos brand new on eBay for $150. Odds are, there is a difference in quality. Good luck with it!

seeing as i drove my car 200 miles this year..... sounds like win lol. 25k miles on a play car is a long time. And at $250, they're practically disposable.

Turbo came in yesterday. Went by home depot/O'reilly's yesterday and picked up the necessary NPT fittings and heater hose for the water lines. Ill get this thing dropped in sometime today considering it shouldnt take that long since my car is resting in the garage without a turbo attached to the manifold.

That's weird that the exhaust housing sits that much farther over. If your other turbo is a journal bearing as well, the center sections should be just about the same width and seeing that they are the same inlet and discharge flange, it really shouldn't be that different. Would welding a flex pipe into the downpipe make it fit or do you already have a flex pipe?

Maybe just buy another coupler to fit this turbo? Yes, it's probably $25 for a decent 3" coupler, but at least the other one would work with your new turbo.

I got the inlet to work and fired up the car. As expected there are some things i need to fix such as I need some silicone gasket sealant for the oil drain and i need to tighten and put some on the npt line to the turbo as well to stop the leaking oil/coolant. The car fired up as normal and there were no strange noises coming from the turbo. I fixed the issue with the inlet and once i get some shorter studs and another DP made i'll have an extra turbo setup for less than $400.

I already have a flex pipe on my DP and there is not enough play to bolt it up to the CBE. Having another DP made wont be a big deal since I have an extra TXS RP that can be used to start making a full length DP.
