(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Just wanted to mention that it appears an o2 sensor extension is included so we can stay 'legal' without any extra stuff needed! Wasn't expecting the extension to come with it. Awesome!

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm confused...you have a cat, it should not throw a CEL...so...what gives on the defouler? Moreover, it is legal with the inclusion of the cat. Why the excitement over the defouler? Last edited by 08.5MS3; 04-11-2014 at 10:18 PM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Probably won't need the extender with a cat, it's most likely included in case it does throw a CEL for whatever reason though. I'd run without it unless you absolutely need it.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I wouldnt say that its a defouler unless I'm missing something. I thought that a "defouler" was an angle connector to take the o2 sensor out of the main exhaust stream to fool it into thinking that there's a cat when there isn't. The bung appears to be a standard for a legit o2 sensor connection. I assume that since there is a cat, both o2 sensors can be hooked up normally. others had said that they get no cel with this dp so I'm guessing that they must have connected them normally or else the o2 sensors wouldn't see enough of a before and after cat air difference... The piece you have (defouler) places the O2 sensor out of the exhaust stream. You should not need it, just put your O2 sensors in and drive.

I think I got lost in translation. Looking at the photos, I don't see the piece I was referring to. In the last photo, what is the item second to the right?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Got it installed yesterday and went from a Cobb stg1 to a CS stg2 map. Wow... I immediately noticed that the car is easier to start off from a stop, and the turbo seems to spool up about 300rpm sooner which is great for me personally as I do mostly city driving. I was concerned with putting on a downpipe because others complained about a loss of power at lower rpm but it definitely feels like an increase to me. And the best part is no smoke.. hehe.
