I should be chosen because I'm very detailed when it comes to evaluating products, to include thorough testing, and precise documentation. I know that you can't just slap a part on a car and not look at how it affects the big picture. I also drive my car very hard at times, and tame at others. I've netted almost 41000 miles on my car since I purchased it in August, 2011. I'm not afraid to get my fingernails dirty, or troubleshoot an issue with my car. I also have a background in CAD/Drafting, and mechanical parts inspection.

Enough stroking already. I'd be glad to be a beta tester for you! Thanks in advance for your consideration.

First, asking regulars on mazdaspeed forums if they would like to beta test goodies? Kind of like offering candy from a shady-ass econo-line van isn't it?

I daily drive my car at Altitude, kids to school in the morning followed by freeway traffic, I run it through the gears like I stole it and it sees 60-80 miles a day depending on route (the direct route is prone to heavy traffic, the indirect route adds 10 miles each way.
My kinds (7 and 9) both point out 'rice' on the drive to school, keeps the 'warm-up' pre-freeway fun and generally they are dead on.

I am a Systems Engineer by trade currently specializing in open systems automation.

I am a loyal CorkSport customer, my previous car was a 2012 3 with the SkyActiv engine and had the CorkSport exhaust with racepipe for it. I try to tell people about CorkSport products when people ask what are good Mazda Aftermarket parts, not to mention, I now sell Mazdas and will recommend CorkSport products to people when they buy a Mazda from me!

Yes, I essentially have no modifications, though plenty are planned in the coming months. You should choose me because I inspect welds and industrial equipment for a living doing everything from NDT to code compliance to metal analysis. I inspected a couple parts for a fellow MSF member and discovered discrepancies that the manufacture was completely unaware of and they are still investigating the cause of. I have years of car modification experience across multiple platforms. I complete all of my own work, never outsourcing to a shop. My car is fairly stock, but quickly approaching a full bolt on status, meaning I can test a part under a variety of scenarios quickly. I am active in my local NATOR chapter frequently attending both Austin and San Antonio NATOR events. My work as a Data Analyst and Software Engineer means, I bring a sharp attention to detail and focus on specifications and instructions.

Also have an xs power mani and Devils own meth kit that im going to instal soon.

Reason: my car is a daily driven car, I drive an average of 80 miles to and from work plus more miles when I pick up my son from babysitter. I live at a very close to sea level are and work up at a higher altitude so I can notice the difference in air density. With the miles I drive I can notice changes in car when new parts are installed. Some good runs are also a part of my drives lol so performance difference and reliability are what I can offer asfar as reviews go, practicality too.

The Best Reason You can think of for why YOU should be a Tester:

- I have a degree in physics and have taken a not insignificant number of mechanical, thermo, electrical, and fluid physics and engineering courses, and therefore, understand much of the underlying theory with respect to how parts are designed.

- I come from an automotive family and have been interested in cars since my dad brought me a 1:18 scale 1958 Ferrari 250 Testarossa when I was 3 years old.

- I worked in the auto industry for my first job out of high school, and performed flow and pressure testing for a group of 6 turbochargers that were the set from which the turbos for Ford's current Ecoboost line of cars were chosen.

- I worked in IT for 7 years, and between this and my Physics training, I've developed a pretty good set of troubleshooting skills.

- I have a J.D. and am currently helping a Fortune 500 company defend its patent portfolio, so I understand a) discretion, b) intellectual property needs, c) fiduciary duties to clients, and d) the need to pursue IP protection when possible.

- I have also done all of the performance-oriented work on my car with my own two hands. I know it's not much (yet), but I'd love to have some CS parts on my car and help to bring them to the community in due course.

- I drive quite a lot. Currently I'm about 400 miles from home, and I make relatively regulr trips back and forth, so if you're looking for cruising data as well as accel/decel/cornering, I can provide it all.

Finally, my sort of "Jack of all Trades" training and scientific background means that I have a very data-driven mindset. I take logs of everything and have even tried to log enough IAT/BAT data to determine temperature differences based on the use of reflective tape.

I have built a 307 ci Chevy powered Jeep CJ-7 and had a built 97 Mustang GT before I got the Speed as a graduation gift.

Sorry guys, no word yet. We hopefully will have more in the future. I haven't actually contacted anyone yet. We've been pretty focused on getting the Max Flow Fuel Pump shipped and some other exciting releases such as the Adjustable Struts and Shocks.

I wanna build an awesome car and the only things left for me to upgrade are the expensive things. It's time to build the motor and upgrade the turbo and any help would be more than appreciated.
