I get about 90% water in my OCC. With the weather around here lately its usually full at or before 3k miles. Glad I switched the the larger can as with the CS can I could only go about 2k miles at the most before it was full.

So I can safely assume there is:
A. something wrong with my hose routing
B. something wrong with a seal somewhere in the system
C. maybe a clog in the system?

Well I can say I went about a 1000 miles inclusive of a track day. And got this.

I have the same routing as you and hot the same small bit of brownish oil but it has started to collect now as you can see.

The problem with the batch with the glue was resolved a while back. We are making some changes based on input from customer and people here on the forums.

Looking at incorporating a small turbo to work off the pressure, forcing more air into intake mani. Probably from an 85 turbo Chevy Sprint.

Will be sending you back my OCC once a new one comes to me. Maybe it wasn't a problem with my hose routing after all? We will find out soon. Thank you Corksport!

I'll be getting one of the first ones with the new changes. I ordered one a while back and was told about the new one coming out. I said I'd wait so that I could get the new version. Should get it the 2nd week of August.

I'm honestly not sure. I don't think they told me what the new changes were going to be... If I was told, then it was over a month ago. So, it's very probable that I forgot. lol

yeah....I'd love a drain valve....

I replaced the the allen bolt with a regular hex bolt. The rubber grommet gave out after 2 drains so now I use teflon tape on the bolt...

I tried finding a drain valve but no one makes on in the right thread size and pitch...

IIRC its an M8x1.25 thread pitch. I had found one a while back but I can't recall where it was. It was on the order of $30+ unless you ordered a large quantity. I also had the same issues with the o-ring. Your best bet is drilling it out and retapping to NPT & then adding a quarter turn valve.

So I cleaned my catch can V2 today and after about a month from when I lasted emptied realized the Allen bolt is corroded way worse than I remember. There were a lot of metal particles in the bottom of the cup I used to get this. Anyone have this issue?

Looks like you over torqued the bolt a few too many times.

Had the same problem with my ram air intake plus fmic kit! Water ended up getting into the filter threw the hood scoop and making my car run like crap and shut off. Sent pics and pretty much said it was my falt and wouldn't replace it anything for that matter. Very disappointed in the product and customer service.

When did this happen? I messaged them asking about that specific problem and they said they hadn't ever had an issue with it. My fear of just that is why I always put a healthy amount of oil on my filter.
